VISION
Earthy yet Elegant styled shoot at the Giraffe Shed
WEDDING VENUE
"The Giraffe Shed is a new-ish industrial barn venue nestled amongst the Welsh hills. The barn is rustic yet modern with a polished concrete floor and black cladding exterior. The idea of the shoot was to use muted earthy hues to compliment the barn and the surrounding countryside. But not going down an especially modern or rustic route, but (hopefully) and a more elegant one. The shoot was in April, not a beautiful spring day but a moody atmospheric one. The florals provided the main colour for the shoot, with rust, apricot, cream and nude tones. There is a focus on seasonal spring blooms with iridescent butterfly ranunculus, japonica, caramel antique roses, spirea and foraged blossoms. The florals were quite relaxed, with installation around the green tweed sofa, which we then moved outside and placed amongst the reeds." - Rebecca Eyre
FASHION & BEAUTY
"There is a simple, minimalist dress for the day by Jessica Bennett Bespoke and a sequinned skirt with back to front bolero top, from Amy Mair for the evening (both British Designers). The end result is meant to be not too 'done', a slightly more natural look for the day and then a bold lip look for the evening. The shoot features a tablescape, echoing the rust, nude tones with full floral arrangements in concrete vessels along with the table, combined with Ester and Erik candles. The stationery is by CuriousMe with modern calligraphy, crystals, and hanging place names. There is also a Bridesmaids gift box, with gifts from independent artists and makers, for those difficult to buy for maids." - Rebecca Eyre
