Beth & Joe chose Recommended Venue, The Barn at Botley Hill, in Surrey to be the backdrop for their rustic wedding that broke more than a few wedding traditions. White wedding dresses? Timeless but we’ve seen them before. Beth wore a black satin off-the-shoulder wedding dress and to say we are obsessed is an understatement. This couple also chose an alternative to a wedding cake. They opted for sharing platters for dessert so everyone could dig in and help themselves. LOVE. IT. Of course, the couple chose the incredible Recommended Supplier, Anna Vesta Photography, to capture the day.
We tried to ensure that our day was exactly what we as a couple wanted and what we would look back on and be proud that we made those decisions at the time.

Botley Hill Barn Surrey Wedding
Beth & Joe's wedding at Botley Hill Barn in Surrey was a rustic dream. They decorated the venue with flowers created by Beth's nan. The wedding stationery and styling all came from Joe as well as a hand-carved wedding ring box! It's all in the details! Beth & Joe did decide to break just a few wedding traditions. Instead of a wedding cake and formal dessert, this couple chose a sharing dessert option of lemon meringue pie. For outfits, Beth chose to wear a black-biased satin wedding dress with a white pearl embellished veil. Both Beth & Joe had customised Mr and Mrs Vans to change into for partying on the dance floor.
Do it your way! If you don't want to conform with tradition then don't - make your own traditions!
