Sky Photography

My husband and I knew immediately that we had to book Sky photography for our wedding day at Dodford Manor Barn after seeing their work at our venue show around. Simon & Karla are incredibly talented, each bringing fantastic personalities, which created such a natural, relaxed atmosphere and that really shows in the photos. We received regular emails from booking right up to the wedding day & they gathered all the relevant information from us to ensure they could organise everything on the day to run smoothly. Both Simon & Karla started whilst we were all getting ready and didn’t leave until after the sparklers, so we have photos of every single aspect of our day, including the bits I didn’t get to see, such as guests arriving & interacting which was so lovely to look through. Due to their thorough information gathering beforehand, the day ran smoothly & they ensured we had plenty of time to do the photos we felt were most important e.g sunset photos. These photos turned out to be our absolute favourites as they’re so incredible & well done. On our couple photos, they took us for a walk around the surrounding areas, staying far enough away to allow us to be as natural as possible, capturing our complete happiness to perfection. During the rest of the day, they blended into the wedding party seamlessly, allowing them to also capture our guests naturally which we have loved looking through. Thank you to you both for giving us everything we could possibly hope for in photos that we will treasure forever. And lastly, a special thank you to Karla for helping me through my brief moment of anxiety in the morning, she could clearly tell I needed a minute & that helped me calm down quickly so thank you!

WOW! Absolutely over the moon with our photos! They capture the emotions of the day perfectly - we've had so many compliments. Karla & Simon were wonderful to deal with from start to finish - so quick to get back and no question was too stupid (sorry Simon!) On the day I was so grateful Karla was there whilst we were getting ready - such a calming & warm presence!! So glad we went with Sky, we couldn't recommend them more highly.

We are so happy we chose Sky photography! After seeing photos they had done of a friends wedding I knew they were the photographers for us, we had our engagement shoot with Simon and were made to feel so relaxed, it was like we were just meeting up with a friend and having a catch up! We didn’t meet Karla until our wedding day but she was just as amazing, so sweet and caring and captured the most gorgeous details - meanwhile Simon was helping the grooms party get their button holes on which was much appreciated as they didn’t have a clue haha! You both made our day so special and the memories that you captured for us we will be forever grateful for - you were also so quick at responding when I had any questions or concerns and did everything you could to give us the photos of our dreams. What can I say.... We cannot thank you enough for capturing our day! We bumped into you both at a random Wedding Fayre we saw when driving in the area, walked in and loved your work - BOOKED! Our photos have exceeded our expectations! Simon blended into the wedding so well! Everything was caught without us even knowing so we and our guests could just enjoy our day. Our 1 year old wondered around all day not being bothered about seeing us, yet Simon managed to get the rare occasions he was in our presence which has meant the world to us! We were so sad to see him leave as we had so many laughs with you, and even said if we ever renew our vows years down the line we will give you a call!
