Big Day Weddings

Having looked at a range of photos by photographers around the London area, Big Day Weddings really stood out for us. We loved the colours, the style and the artistic nature of the images they captured. We didn't want to miss out on anything during the day and didn't like the idea of standing for fussy formal photos when there was so much fizz to get back for!!! Their more relaxed but professional style really suited us. Jo and David were absolutely amazing throughout the day and leading up to it. Due to distance, it wasn't possible to meet up beforehand but we had an in-depth chat on Skype about what photos we wanted and what we wanted to capture from the day, which pretty much mirrored their thoughts. That was so helpful and they did exactly what we'd discussed! We really can not recommend them enough. Thank you so much for doing so wonderfully!!!

Coming across David and Joanna, we knew they were 'the one'. In the run-up to the big day, David answered all our silly questions with great patience, and even went up to our church and wedding location, to get a sense of the light and shade, etc. On the day itself, Joanna and David were brilliant. Discreet during the service, but taking every shot you could wish for. Being introverted by nature, Lucy and I don't find it that easy to let people into our personal life - so it is with considerable respect that I can say we felt completely at ease with David and Joanna photographing us in a romantic location near our church. We saw all the final photos last week and nearly wept with joy over these photos in particular. Thank you, David and Joanna. You are brilliant.

Where do we start? Thank you so so much! You've captured our day beautifully! Going through the photos have helped us re-live it all over again! Every single photo is shot to perfection, great angles and extremely clear with great colour! We loved all the special effects and filters you've put on too, especially the one with Kym "showering" herself! :) You have captured all the special moments, especially the ones that went very quickly - such as our dip towards the end of the first dance (as we couldn't hold that position for long! :) We absolutely loved working with you both.

We had Big Day Weddings for our wedding photographers. We really recommend David and Joanna! We had an initial call with David and we really enjoyed his relaxed but professional approach. We then had an engagement shoot with him a couple of months before which was really fun and made the actual photography on the wedding day feel much easier and more natural! On the wedding day they did a brilliant job throughout, and David was great engaging with our guests and making them laugh which made for such happy photos! You could also really tell that Big Day are very used to shooting weddings in urban environments. David has a good eye for spotting areas that would make great photos both around the venue and when we went out during the wedding day as a couple to do some photos by the river in London. We’re both so happy with all the photos and our guests really enjoyed them as well. We definitely recommend Big Day Weddings for your wedding photography!

We recently planned a fairly last minute, low key afternoon church wedding and asked David to capture our day and with his creative style it looks like we planned the most exquisite day down to the finest detail. He provided us with an incredible amount of pictures and they are all truly wonderful. The slide show to music that is included in the package is really something very special to treasure. From the first contact I knew I had made the right choice on photographer. I felt David understood us and our take on a relaxed, low key wedding perfectly. I was immediately at ease talking with him on the phone and as soon as I met met him on the day I was instantly relaxed. We can't believe how he managed to capture so many shots in so many different places seemingly all at the same time! A guest even commented 'where did you find this guy, he is brilliant'. The images are incredible and have far exceeded expectionations. It is such a great mix of guests in the moment looking happy and relaxed but also some amazing orchestrated shots with David's creative direction which are extremely unique and look amazing. His artistic flair shines through and we are thrilled with everything that he managed to capture. It is a true essence of the day. I would not hesitate the recommend him to any friends in the future.
