Hold on tight as we're about to fill your screens with colourful Spring flowers for an industrial wedding at London's Wild by Tart venue. The modern bride wears a bridal crop top and trouser outfit, plus, velvet heels to match the florals and a chic woollen coverup. She also has the most gorgeous glowy skin and highlights her face with orange winged liner and fierce undos adorned with killer accessories. There's also a concrete cake and understated wedding stationery in delicious sorbet tones. Need we go on? This amazing concept was brought to us by Pink Palms Events and captured by Elena Popa Photography whose collaborations are always so inspiring.
Spring is the season full of hope & excitement for what the year will bring, and the shoot reflects that in the pastel colour palette used across florals, stationery, makeup, cake & bridal accessories. The aim was to create a tablescape that focused on colour and texture, playing with heights in a more modern and Japanese inspired floral design style to create shapes and floral dense moments. We wanted to draw the eye to varying heights to give the table movement, in a playful way as opposed to traditional centrepieces. We also used tulle table runners for a soft but fresh feel.Kai at My Lady Garden
The cake was designed with a strong, striking urban style in mind and the tall tiers were in stark contrast to the bold and colourful Spring blooms. The buttercream, in shades of grey, was textured and had glimmers of metallic nuggets to emulate a natural agate or quartz like stone. The flowers were arranged to create drama and a showstopping look to the overall cake. The edible wedding favour biscuits tied in with the colours of the stationery as well as details from the cake." - Vaani at Sugarplum Bakes
Our focus was the modern city bride, which is why we chose a contemporary, sleek Stephanie Allin bridal two-piece. Building on the colour palette in the florals, Ashleigh at Pink Palms incorporated the colours into the bridal look too with a blush pink Velvet Hearts cardigan and statement bright orange velvet heels. We wanted to show couples how to use the colours in other areas of a wedding too, not just the table!" - Ashleigh at Pink Palms
Portraits Bridal Agency approach towards hair and makeup is quite bold but we achieve this in the most simple of ways. "Our style means we don’t like to over complicate our designs and we love to play with shape. For us, the trick is mixing very classic with very modern techniques, while we carefully consider the suitability of the look for each individual to attain the added “Wow” factor." For this shoot our aim was to mix in all of our usual ethos and create something that would stand out, as well as something that worked well with all of the elements of the shoot on the day. We especially had fun playing with colourful graphic eyeliner and building in the hair pieces by the dreamy Tilly Thomas, and which compliment the whole look so brilliantly." - Zara & Carla at Portraits Bridal Agency
