Valentines Day has just passed but we're still feeling the love and absolutely smitten with this incredible Spring Equinox inspiration at Thorpe Manor by Sian from Revival Rooms. The floral arrangements have completely taken our breath away, and as for the mosaic bath and edible flower wedding cake, that's every girl's dream 'me time' right there isn't it... apart from perusing Rock My Wedding of course!
Sian, Stylist & Floral Designer at Revival Rooms: Using a colour palette incorporating vibrant pastels: baby pink, radiant yellow, fuchsia, mint green, soft mink and touches of warm coral, our bold colour scheme created a wedding story to inspire couples wanting to move away from a traditional country style wedding.
Our bride looked gorgeous in a romantic Daughters of Simone wedding gown (from Coco & Kate), before an outfit change for the evening reception - a must-have sequin knee-length LBD by Needle & Thread, completing her playful, yet elegant bridal style perfectly. Paired with romantic accessories by Botias Accessories and beautiful hair & make up by Alison Jenner, we kept her bridal look soft & playful.
Our outdoor ceremony setting used the beautiful iron-wrought gates at Thorpe Manor Wedding Venue as a backdrop, incorporating a monochrome element into the styling. This was carried through to the vibrant tablescape which contrasted beautifully with the manor's Georgian exterior – a fresh and sleek look, inspiring modern couples to make Thorpe Manor their own on their wedding weekend. Edible flower biscuits by Blushing Cook were the perfect wedding favours and her epic buttercream wedding cake, adorned with edible flowers, completely stole the show (other than Franck of course!).
In keeping with the Spring Equinox theme, I created a wild floral installation on the staircase – a focal point as you enter the manor. Representing the emergence of the new Spring season, bright, vibrant flowers created an ‘aura’ type effect around our bride. Making the most of the bridal suite at Thorpe Manor, our playful bride lounged in the mint green mosaic bath, blowing bubbles and celebrating a wonderful wedding weekend with her new husband.
