A week before Emma and Seb's wedding their reception venue was an empty barn full of cattle feed! That was before Hire Love got their hands on it and styled it with an abundance of rustic wedding decor. There are brass vessels, woollen rugs and a peacock chair made for two. All of these details will leave you inspired and raring to go with wedding planning your own day. What a great way to kick start, 2021!
Inspiration & Styling
Emma and Seb both have backgrounds in the fashion and design industry so they had a really strong vision when it came to the styling of their wedding day. They chose Higham Farm as their venue, which was actually a working barn before they completely transformed it into the most stunning reception venue! It was a blank canvas but it required a whole lot of tidying up and rigging, and Rachael and David behind HireLove were the two superhumans that made this vision come true. Not only did they design and style the place, but they also brought in wonderful props that really transformed it into a boho dream. The pampas cloud created by Lucy from Lucy Wild Bloom perfectly finished off the whole look!Irene Yap Photography
Emma and Seb chose a dry hire barn in Canterbury for their unique celebration. Filling it with rustic wedding decor and dried flowers styled by Hire Love. Our eyes are instantly drawn to the peacock love seat (or should I say throne) with pampas grass floral installation overhead. Not only does it make a great focal point for the top table it also frames the couple's first dance.
Fashion & Beauty
Emma looked absolutely gorgeous in her Inbal Dror gown which she paired with a giant pearl headband, and Seb looked rather dapper in his Hugo Boss suit. After the beautiful and emotional ceremony, they headed off to the reception in a jeep. They were such a laid back and easy couple to work with, and the same can be said about their guests. Not to sound cliche but all the separate elements combined made this the most perfect day and it was pure bliss to photograph!Irene Yap Photography
Hands up who has hair envy for Emma's mermaid locks?! I know I do. Also that headband - ouff!
