This stunning dress is perfect for a bride seeking a modern twist on a classic silhouette. Original Caroline Castigliano dress, never worn, latest collection. Purchased from Caroline Castgliano's flagship store in Knightsbridge. This dress is entirely new off the hanger, never worn! It is not altered in any way and retains it's original length, so it can be fitted and sculpted perfectly for your body. It is a size 8 in the designer's size but fits high street size 10-12 (I'm a size 10 and it fit beautifully). The gown is exquisitely cut from Italian giupure lace to give a modern look to a classic silhouette, to contour and define your figure. It's designed with internal corsetry with a supportive and uplifting fit. The skirt is accented with a godets so that the hem swirls around the legs. The exquisite design is offset by a satin grosgrain sash, which weaves through the lace to draw the eye into the waist. The tailored seams accentuate the waist and elongate the silhouette. The sweetheart strapless design and low back is extremely flattering. The dress colour is a brilliant white which brightens the entire look and catches the light beautifully. Design: This beautiful, original Caroline Castigliano design is made of Italian Lace which is beautifully white and bright, so it makes you shine and glisten and beautifully catches the light! The large floral details are so eye-catching and unique compared to traditional French lace (which is much finer and looks subtler from far away). There is a continuous hem which is purposeful in the design, bringing modern flair to this dress. The low back creates a really flattering touch and the sweetheart shape at the front creates a more elongated neck and slims the shoulders so beautifully frames the shoulders (something I was personally more conscious of). The shoulder covers / shawl is not included but was one of the matching accessories that I tried on with this dress - the beauty of this dress is the versatility as there are so many complementary accessories that can be paired with it on the day to create two dresses (or more) from one! There are so many options to add accessories such as sleeves, cuffs, jackets, shoulder covers, necklines, straps and more.
