This beautifully rainy wedding day is the perfect example of love always wins. Flora & Kiya made a lot of changes to their day due to COVID-19, but were adamant they would marry no matter what. Keeping their day simple and relaxed, they decided to move their reception to next Spring - hoping for a big party! They decided on a ‘first look’ moment, which was beautifully captured by Beatrici Photography.
If your wedding planning is being impacted by Covid restrictions and you’re not sure whether to go ahead or postpone – our advice would be to GO FOR IT!Flora & Kiya
We were quite limited to the personal touches we were allowed to have for the ceremony – including music. But at the very last minute we were told I could walk down the aisle to something. Kiya quickly picked a recent song that I absolutely adore – ‘Are you even real?’ by James Blake.
We kept everything super simple, cool and relaxed for the ceremony, as we actually decided to move the whole reception to next Spring – and the vibe for that will be very different! If we can go ahead, it will likely be the first time in a year that everyone has been able to get together, so it will be one huge party!
Since we made the decision to move the reception to Spring 2021, I decided I couldn’t possibly wear the same dress twice! I chose to save my ‘real dress’ for the reception when more people will get to see it in the flesh.
