Is it just us, or is looking at these orange satin bridesmaid dresses making anyone else feel kind of... hot? We're not sure if it's those flames dresses or the incredible styling at Abby & Dave's Hope Farm wedding, but something has got us feeling all warm inside. It could well be the first looks captured by Recommended photographer Laura Dean, which have also given us some sort of lump in our throat... Or perhaps that neon sign glowing with the words 'It Was Always You'. Abby, Dave. Give us a chance here! In any case, the styling was impeccable, the dresses beautiful and the sun shining down on it all. We may or may not be starting our orange wedding inspiration Pinterest board as we speak...
We are in awe of all of the suppliers. But a special shout out to our incredibly talented photographer & videographer for capturing our day so perfectly, we can now relive the best day of our lives over & over again!
Abby & Dave
Like many of us, Abby is self-admittedly kind of obsessed with pampas grass. But her and Dave certainly didn't go overboard, and kept the balance between the florals, decor and rustic wooden textures to a near perfect level. They were aiming for a warm rustic vibe with a modern Aussie twist, and have basically shot, scored and had the crowd go wild on that one. From the draping to the fairy lights, it's just brimming with details that we want to drag and drop right into our own wedding! The neon sign was also a great addition as it not only makes a great backdrop for the top table during the reception, but lights up the dance floor late into the night. As they (we) say, get yourself lighting that can do both!
So if you're new here, you may not know that we absolutely love a satin bridesmaid dress. (So much so that we have a whole article on it). And these fiery orange satin bridesmaid dresses are no exception! In fact, they might be a new favourite... Paired with a bold orange eye and neutral heel they are giving us a sleek autumnal vibe we can't stop admiring. They also complemented the pops of orange throughout the day, including the table runner, ceremony arch draping and the bouquets. Also, did you see those orange dinner candles? The perfect finishing touch to any wedding table decor, as demonstrated perfectly by Abby and Dave. Straight on the Pinterest board they go.
Don't sweat the small stuff! Everything seems to work out perfectly on the day, the overwhelming feeling of love surpasses any minor details.
Abby & Dave
From the orange satin bridesmaid dresses to that champagne shot, we're feeling like we want to jump in a time machine, make friends with Abby and Dave, and attend this incredible day. Unfortunately, no one invented time machines yet, so creating our own Pinterest board full of their ideas will have to do... But if you're feeling the heat as much as us, then don't fear! We've got plenty more orange wedding inspiration. If it was the champagne shot that has you all fired up then we've got the 10 must have photos for your big day.
