Celia & William’s Hedsor House black tie wedding is full of soft pastel pinks, ivories and creams to create a dreamy romantic colour palette that brings a contemporary vibe to their classic country house wedding. Recommended Venue, Hedsor House, made for the perfect backdrop to bring those luxe and classy vibes to this timeless day. Plus, Recommended Supplier, Emma Kim, was on hand to ensure Celia’s locks were styled beautifully and looking picture-perfect all day long!
We started off by finding the venue through Rock My Wedding and then went from there - the supplier recommendations were so helpful as we didn't know where to start. We then found other suppliers through Instagram and word of mouth. Our suppliers ended up being more like friends and they really understood and listened to what we wanted.
Celia & William
Luxe, modern, classy, elegant, and timeless! Those are just a few words that come to us when looking at this beautiful black-tie Hedsor House wedding. Celia & William focused on the details. The couple wanted something timeless that they could look back on in years to come and still love! Opting for a classic country house wedding venue, the vibe was luxe and chic. Celia & William had a colour palette of romantic neutrals, ivory, blush, and pale peach. To ensure this theme carried over into their wedding photos, the couple prioritised their photography and Romy Lawrence Photography captured the day perfectly. It was all in the details for Celia & William who put a lot of thought into the small designs of the day. They had a letterpress on the napkin menus and an organza bow on the invitation, which was a nod to the bow on Celia's dress!
Celia really struggled to find her dream wedding dress - she went to 8 different bridal boutiques! She eventually settled on an Eva Lendel wedding dress that looked stunning alongside those pink bridesmaid dresses! The best bit for this couple was walking down the aisle to each other. Their friend read Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton at the ceremony. The couple walked back down the aisle to This Will Be by Natalie Cole. Celia & William's guests love to dance and drink (they have a big Irish family), so the couple had a special Irish bar in the evening which consisted of Guinness pints and baby Guinness shots. There was also a cocktail hour after dinner with espresso martinis (for him) and pornstar martinis (for her). The night at Hedsor House was complete with a jazz duo for the reception and a 7-piece band for the evening.
We were really worried about the weather. It had been forecast to thunderstorm all week and we were worried it would ruin our guest's perception of the venue. The sun ended up shining all day long, which was perfect for the drinks reception - it was amazing and very unexpected. We were so relieved! Do your research with suppliers and don't be afraid to negotiate. Ask suppliers lots of questions. Think about how the timings of the day will flow for the guests - and make sure champagne is free-flowing at all times!
