What Made Our Day Unique

We were so lucky to be able to do the wedding at my family home, somewhere that has meant so much to me, and to be able to tap into my parents incredible staff in the farm shop and the pub who were just incredible. We were so lucky. We also had my dad and brothers DJ some of the night which was AMAZING. I loved taking moments with David and just standing back and just reflecting what was happening and looking at all of our loved ones. I LOVED the ceremony more than I anticipated and I absolutely loved the moment when we walked into the marquee and saw all of our loved ones.

Hawarden Castle

Real Bride India is the former Prime Minister William Gladstone's great-great-granddaughter which means the historic Hawarden Castle in Wales is her family home. The emotional wedding ceremony took place at a church in Hawarden, not far from the castle, then guests walked from the church to the castle grounds for a champagne reception inside. Following that, there was a sit-down dinner in an elegantly dressed, festoon lit marquee reception including speeches, confetti bomb moments and bouquet tosses that look like a hoot. India is an incredibly beautiful and smiley bride and everything about this classic wedding will warm your heart.

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted it to be really us, we didn't want anything incredibly OTT that just wouldn't feel like us. We wanted the marquee and the room and everything to just reflect us as a couple and our individual personalities.
