If you’re looking for a country house wedding venue that needs no introduction, our mind immediately goes to Hampton Court House. Leanne & Edd chose to have their classic wedding with a contemporary twist at Hampton Court House because it’s so naturally beautiful. The couple married with an exchange of personal wedding vows and partied hard in the evening with two DJs that kept the dancefloor packed all night long. Keep scrolling to see what their last song of the night was! Leanne & Edd chose Recommended supplier, The Wedding Shop, for their gift list and had Recommended supplier, MIKI Studios, capturing the whole day!
With Edd working in hospitality we were lucky to have some great contacts. Hampton Court House also had some excellent preferred suppliers who knew the venue inside out and could advise on how to get the most out of the venue for the vibe we wanted to create.
Leanne & Edd
The styling for Leanne & Edd's Hampton Court House wedding was easy as the house and grounds are so naturally beautiful. The couple loved the country house venue's understated opulence and chose to add a contemporary twist with a palette of burnt oranges and black accents. Leanne & Edd added church candles everywhere with a backdrop of wildflowers and ivy. They (and we) are just obsessed with how the vision came to life on the day. Leanne & Edd found that their day was even more special because they had been very hands-on in the process including designing and producing all of the stationery and decor themselves! A stand-out decoration is that hanging installation in the conservatory filled with palm fronds, monstera leaves, eucalyptus and more ivy! It literally belongs in a gallery!
Leanne & Edd really wanted to make the day as personal as possible and ditched many formalities that didn't suit them. They wrote their own vows to make the ceremony personal (and very emotional!). The wedding speeches were also a really special part of the day including a bridal speech! The couple staggered the speeches throughout the wedding breakfast, which gave great energy throughout the afternoon and guests a chance to fix their make-up! Without a doubt, their favourite moment was the party at the end. It was a perfect summer's evening and the dancefloor was in the big airy conservatory at Hampton Court House. Leanne & Edd had two amazing DJs who played everything from 80s disco to drum and bass. The dancefloor was full the entire night and everyone let their hair down!
Make the day personal to you - avoid the cut-and-paste formalities wherever possible and don't be afraid to go against the status quo. There's a lot of etiquette and "we should do this" in planning a wedding but if it doesn't fit your day, don't do it. Equally as important, enjoy the run-up regardless of how stressful it may seem. Take time just the two of you and don't let the wedmin take over!

Leanne & Edd ended their Hampton Court House wedding with 'Freed From Desire' by Gala! In our opinion that's the only right way to end the party, it's guaranteed to get everyone going. We have 10 more last dance songs for you! To complement their styling and the traditional vibe of the day, the couple chose to have green bridesmaid dresses. We can't fault that decision, green goes with literally everything!
