Zina and Jonathan injected their personalities, Cornish and Caribbean heritages, and style into every element of their Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding. Including wearing a customised Grace Loves Lace 'Rosa' wedding dress, designing the wedding stationery and signs, and opting for a cheese tower instead of a traditional wedding cake. All of the details and wedding day moments have been captured by Rock My Wedding recommended supplier Will Patrick Photography so you know you're in for a treat. Keep your eyes peeled for the fairy light backdrop and floral installation too - it's PIN-tastic!
What Made Our Day Unique
We merged both our families heritages together for our day- Cornish and Caribbean. We wanted to give our loved ones tropical vibes with touches of the coast - evening delivery of Cornish Pasty's, Calypso Steel Pans, Rum Punch, Jerk BBQ, Cornish beer kegs and inspired gin cocktails! Our main aim was to feel relaxed and have a party from start to finish - we even had a garage rave with our DJ. The look of our day was also so important - we wanted the brightest flowers filling the venue and Jonathan's graphics to lead. We didn't want to have just one 'wedding colour'.

Grace Loves Lace Rosa
Zina was really fond of all Australian wedding dress designers, so, as soon as Grace Loves Lace opened its London Showroom she booked an appointment. There she fell in love with the 'Rosa' gown which she bought along with the matching floral veil. With the help of a recommended seamstress, they split her veil in two and created voluminous wings on the back of her dress. It was exactly the vision she had wanted for her wedding day. It also ensured her gorgeous wedding hairstyle was not hidden behind a veil. What a beauty!
Inspiration & Styling
Rainbow bright florals, homemade touches and tropical! We wanted the visual for our guests to be packed with florals - including a suspended installation over the top table. We went from a brickwork electrician's shop for the ceremony with fairy lights, to a calypso vibe with the best weather we could have hoped. I'm known for home crafting so every guest had a homemade pompom - that was over 150+! Jonathan created a logo for us and used florals and navy to tie everything together. I also sourced old medicine bottles to style flowers in groups on all the tables.

Favourite Moment
If I had to pick it would have to be at the top of the only lighthouse in London! Our photographer Will Patrick Weddings took us up to the top of the lighthouse for photos and we had such a view of our loved ones having a good time - we then had a massive cheer from our guests when the looked up and noticed us. It was amazing to look down and take a moment out to soak up the day - which can be a rare occurrence on your big day.
