WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE
"Being from opposite ends of the country (Grant from Glasgow, and Dani from the South coast of England) we wanted to have a wedding that would represent both sides of our families. Incorporating both the blush pink English Rose and also the dark green Scottish Thistle into all our our flowers (from the bridal bouquet to the table decorations) is just one of the ways we made the day feel unique to us. We also love the outdoors so having an outdoor reception in the middle of the South Downs national park right near Dani’s family home was so perfect for us. With Grant and the Groomsmen (and Scottish family) all in Kilts, it certainly felt like a Scottish invasion in the South Downs, and that was before the Ceilidh began! " - Danielle & Grant
INSPIRATION & STYLING
"One of the main things we wanted for the day was for it to feel relaxed and full of family and friends. We went for a garden party feel for the reception, located in a walled garden with a beautiful marquee, long trestle tables and lots of outdoor areas for people to mingle and enjoy the sunshine (thankfully the weather was perfect!), and room for kids to run around. The way the food was served was a key part of the day for us in making the wedding breakfast feel like a family dinner. We had big wooden sharing boards of various sides and skewers for people to pass round between themselves and also serve each other, which helped to give a real rustic, homemade feel." - Danielle & Grant
