An intimate Spring wedding complete with emerald green satin bridesmaid dresses? Don’t say we don’t treat you… Ellie & Haydn wanted a relaxed vibe with plenty of personal touches. They fell in love with Aswarby Rectory due to its timeless look; choosing to let the venue speak for itself, decorating simply with beautiful florals. Ellie wore a beautiful gown from Recommended Supplier, Kate Beaumont, alongside hair pins from Debbie Carlisle. The Man of Honour created table numbers, seating plan and embroidered PJs, whilst confetti had been created taking flowers from family gardens and dried to make a beautiful mix of colours. Their day ended on the dance floor, which was packed out all night!
We had a humanist ceremony which started the day off perfectly, Daniel told our story so well. The personal elements in there made everyone feel included!

Ellie & Haydn wanted simplistic decor that complimented the interior of Aswarby Rectory. With Spring florals, timeless bridal party outfits, and pastel colours throughout. Taking inspiration from Rock My Wedding and Instagram, they found their incredible suppliers. Oh, and Ellie’s wedding gown was altered and worn on her honeymoon (don’t you just love that idea?)
It’s always difficult to choose a favourite moment, but Ellie & Haydn loved spending time with those closest to them. They took a moment at the top table together to simply watch everyone laughing, telling stories, and generally having the best time! Of course, they can’t forget the end of the night in which everyone was dancing and singing their hearts out.
Go with your gut and you cannot go wrong! Enjoy every moment, it goes by so fast!
