INSPIRATION & STYLING

"The colourful candles and kitsch table décor were complemented by the cool neon and a fun streamer backdrop. We chose to use potted plants and retro blooms to give sustainable and eco-friendly inspiration and teamed this with the most incredible bouquet in big, bold blooms and foliage to create an alternative pop of colour. The inspiration for this shoot was to pull together the venue’s nautical thematic styling with kitsch and fun detailing and caters very much for couples who want to create a wow of a wedding with budget-friendly hacks. The extraordinarily artistic cake added another layer of quirkiness, colour and texture. The gorgeous stationery had nautical twists and retro touches and we all adored the bright pops of pink against the bright red lobsters. " - Sally Gallis at Events by Design

You know when Dorothy walks out into Oz for the first time? This is how I feel when looking at this colourful wedding theme planned and styled by Sally at Events by Design. From the furniture through to the flowers by RMW recommended supplier Willow and Wisps, no colour or detail has been spared. There's even a cocktail bar and some vodka, because, you know, it is the weekend!

The Groom’s styling was kept fun and informal. We loved playing with his distinctly ‘sailor boy’ styling.
