Yes, yes, yes - give us all that Autumnal inspiration! Oh, and those burgundy wedding suits? Don’t even get us started. This gorgeous couple had just 44 hours notice that their wedding was going ahead. Having previously attempted to marry twice before, they weren’t going to let anything stop them! Steven & Ben created a beautiful Autumnal day. Complete with pumpkins, hand collected and ironed leaves and a false cake they made themselves. Also, special shoutout to the Union Jack umbrella and wellies vibe, all captured perfectly by recommended supplier Cat Stephens Photography.
Our day was unique because we had to cut a lot of extras such as; the singer, DJ, illusionist, photo booth, and our wedding reception. Most challenging of all, we had to reduce our guest list dramatically. All this considered, our day was magical! By cutting all the faff and losing a few guests, we could focus our attention on each other. Letting our love be the entertainment of our day.Steven & Ben
Our venue had an open day which was amazing! Not only did we experience the visuals of the stunning barn, we were also able to get a feel for it. The venue is rustic and naturally beautiful, so we wanted to allow that to shine through whilst enhancing its elegance.
We decided that it was really important to really focus on the seasons and the beautiful colours they bring. Our original date was in Spring, but changed to Autumn. We focused on the beautiful oranges, yellows, and browns as the leaves start to fall, being hugely inspired by nature.
The best advice we could give is to keep things simple! Choose a venue that is renowned for their support. Narrow down your guest list and don't feel pressured by other people (remember, it's your day). Enjoy the planning phase, be creative, express both of your personalities and let your love shine.
Having all your closest friends and family watching you take your soulmate as your husband, is absolutely priceless. If we had to choose something that stood out the most, it would be walking through a field full of mud! Complete darkness, searching for a lake to make the most perfect scene for our moonlight photos. This truly showcased our joint adventurous traits and togetherness.Steven & Ben
