You shall not pass! Just kidding! Of course, come in and take a browse around for a while. Don’t mind us, we’re just getting into character for this Lord of The Rings themed wedding at The Riverside Glass House wedding venue in Warwickshire. Amy & Tom decided on a unique wedding theme for their special day to ensure it was a true reflection of them. Tom is totally obsessed with Lord of The Rings and the couple had recently been on a trip to Texas, so a country western and Lord of The Rings theme was born. The couple stuck with a natural light green, grey and white colour palette to embrace the natural vibes of their glasshouse wedding venue. Amy found her intricate and wonderfully detailed wedding dress from Recommended Supplier, Dress Me Pretty. All of this was captured beautifully below by Recommended Supplier, SL Photo and Film

I found Dress Me Pretty through Rock My Wedding and they went above and beyond! I booked an appointment to get an idea of what dress I wanted and fell in love with one on my first visit. The dress that I loved, ended up in one of their sample sales and they contacted me to let me know! They knew I ideally wanted one with sleeves, which the dress did not have. However, they were able to order me the matching lace for the seamstress to create them.

The Lord of The Rings Wedding at The Riverside Glass House

Tom adores The Lord of The Rings and after a recent holiday to Texas, Amy & Tom merged the two things they love together as a theme. The couple wore cowboy/girl boots and had ‘Gathering Hobbits’ played by a harpist through the ceremony. Despite seeming like two totally opposite themes, they paired seamlessly! As the couple said their personalised vows, they realised they had both chosen the same last line, “I would rather spend one lifetime with you, than spend all the ages of this world alone”, which is a quote from ‘The Fellowship of The Ring’. If that’s not a sign, we don’t know what is! The newlyweds own a classic Mustang and used this as their wedding car. It matched the natural green colour palette exactly. The couple embraced earthy tones that went perfectly with their botanical wedding venue. Amy & Tom’s neighbours got married at The Riverside Glass House and it was after seeing their photos that they booked a meeting to have their own wedding day there!
