If you're planning a Spring/Summer wedding then this pastel inspiration at The White Barn will be right up your street. It's light, it's airy and features pretty floral arrangements, an epic ruffle wedding cake, and fashion from the high street! Who said weddings had to be expensive? Or take a long time to plan for that matter?! This intimate celebration beautifully illustrates that you can have a stunning day at a price that's right for you. Captured by the talented, Recommended photographer, Jennifer Jane Photography, and featuring bridal earrings and makeup by Recommended suppliers, Rachel Sokhal Bridal and Lips & Locks.
Our vision was to create an uplifting summery shoot, that was luxurious and modern yet quintessentially English countryside. It is jam-packed with wild and opulent florals bringing the outside in.

I wanted the cake and desserts to reflect the pastel colour scheme. Baking Chick created a stunning three-tier ripple effect iced cake with pale peach and blue ombre effect. The showstopping cake was accompanied by a selection of gorgeous mini choux buns delicately iced in a pale peach alongside some yummy macaroons in delicate peach and blue colours. Both were accompanied by vases of flowers and blue candles. A dessert table is a great way to feed your guests yet still have treats that look like an integral feature of the day. Even if they do look too beautiful to eat.
With the growing trend for the last minute smaller weddings and elopements, where couples have just decided to go for it whilst they can, I wanted to show that it is possible to find the perfect wedding dress and suit at a high street brand, that is both elegant, modern and luxurious and will turn heads. Phase Eight and Next stepped up to the plate with aplomb. Combined with beautiful earrings from Rachel Sokhal Bridal and stunning bespoke hairpins from The Lucky Sixpence. Beautiful soft dewy makeup and lose updo by Grace at Lips and Locks completed the elegant look.
I wanted the flower to be wild, elegant, and romantic. The split ceremony arch was a real statement piece, wild and opulent but still maintaining a whimsical feel to complement the Somerset countryside. The pièce de resistance was the two-tier wrought iron chandelier that was decorated with foliage and loose tendrils. Lowered to hang over the breakfast table which was styled with a soft blue tablecloth, blue & peach coloured plates and peach napkins. All accompanied by a large floral display and two small ones, to create a modern and chic table setting.
