We knew from the moment we saw Merriscourt, and met Emily, that it was the venue we wanted to use to get married in. The venue itself has everything you could need to make your day special. The grounds are spectacular, we were fortunate that we had sunshine on our wedding day, but the views over the Cotswolds are stunning on even an overcast or rainy day with the outdoor spaces perfect for an outdoors ceremony, reception or even just photos. The barns have everything you need, and the team are incredibly knowledgeable with great suggestions on what to do with each space, but also flexible enough to allow you to customise your wedding and really make it your own. We really appreciated that they gave us access to the venue a few days early to set up, it really took the stress away and just made us feel even more welcome. The cottages on site are perfect for allowing your close friends and family to be close to you throughout the wedding, every detail was catered for, down to leaving food in the fridge for breakfast so that we did not have to think about bringing it with us. All of our family and friends remarked on how nice the cottages were, and how lovely it was to give them a space to get together before the wedding, as that was the first time many of them had met. We cannot thank the staff enough for how kind and helpful they were during our wedding day, and afterwards. But we must single out Paige, Eva, and most importantly Emily for all the guidance and support they gave us from the moment we came to see Merriscourt to even after we left. They have been so accommodating and understanding of all the little things that we wanted to incorporate into our wedding to make it special, it would not have been such a special day without them and we cannot thank them enough. If you want an unforgettable wedding that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life, we cannot recommend Merriscourt enough!

We got married at Merriscourt in September 2024, and we had the best day ever. It has to be the best place to get married in the Cotswolds. First, the obvious things. The venue is totally stunning. Whether it's rain or shine you've got magnificent views, country charm and a great space where all your guests can be together and in their own space at the same time. Got a large group of bridesmaids/groomsmen/family? They have you covered. They've got plenty of accommodation on site making it easy for guests who have mobility issues or for those friends who aren't all-night party go-ers. We were even able to stay the night before our wedding, meaning we got to wake up surrounded in the beautiful countryside and had no logistical issues to worry about! The food is incredible. We went for an all vegetarian set of canapes and mostly veggie meal, and despite plenty of our guests being meat lovers, we had multiple people say the food was stunning. Some friends said it was even better than the food at their wedding! Last, but not least, Emily, Paige and Eva are dream-makers. They're incomparably brilliant. From the moment we booked they helped us through everything. They answered I-don't-know-how-many email and calls from us whenever we needed to just double or triple check something. They had really helpful advice for how we could order the day and were so flexible when it came to our use of the venue and accommodation. You won't find a more reassuring set of people on a day (or many days) too. Also, they're all just very lovely and pleasant people you'll be happy to chat to! 10/10, you've found what you're looking for.

From the first time we visited the beautiful Merriscourt in the Cotswolds we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding day – we were struck by how stunning the barns looked inside and out, how tasteful and immaculate the cottages were and of course how iconic the Merriscourt tree looked in the middle of the courtyard (we knew it would make the most romantic setting for evening photos with the beautiful twinkling lights on!). We were lucky to hire the venue for two days and found that it was incredibly convenient to have family and friends coming from afar staying on-site, with the ceremony barn and wedding breakfast barn in the same location. The venue is everything you need within a two-minute walk, and we were relaxed to know that we were in safe hands when it came to every single detail!! The food that the Chef and his team prepared for us, and our guests was truly outstanding, and one of the best parts of an already stellar day that Merriscourt helped organise for us. We can’t thank Emily, Eva and Paige enough for their professionalism, responsiveness and flexibility, especially with last minute guest changes. If you are looking for the wedding venue of your dreams, and the chance to work with an outstanding team to create your perfect wedding day, Merriscourt should be your number one choice!

My husband and I got married at Merriscourt in July this year and had the most wonderful day. We can’t recommend Merriscourt highly enough. The venue is beautiful and has a good mix of indoor and outdoor space. Emily and Paige supported us throughout the year with our wedding planning. They were always very helpful and offered advice on our regular check-in calls and promptly answered all of our emails. Our wedding day itself went very smoothly. In particular a number of our guests commented on i) how stunning the venue was, ii) the food being some of the best wedding food they have ever had, and iii) how relaxed my husband and I were. This really came down to the fact that we trusted the Merriscourt team to manage all of the logistics behind the scenes, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our time with our guests. It was also an added bonus having the on-site accommodation for a number of our guests to stay over. Merriscourt was also very good dealing with my peanut allergy and other guests’ dietary requirements. The day after our wedding, the Merriscourt team had already packed up all of our belongings, making the clearing up very quick and pain free. Merriscourt will always be a special place for us and we can’t thank them enough. Believe us when we say you won’t regret getting married here!

My husband and I got married at Merriscourt in August 2023 and it was the most perfect day! The whole experience from our initial showaround to the actual day was seamless. Emily & Eva spent so much time getting to know exactly what we wanted and ensuring we had the day of our dreams. They were able to organise countless video calls, let us come to extra viewings if we needed and make the whole experience so much less stressful than I imagined it would be. The venue itself is gorgeous - the onsite accommodation is incredible and the food (both for the evening before and on the actual day) was amazing. The serving staff were professional and we felt unbelievably looked after on the day. The staff do really go above and beyond and whilst they are there to do their job, they obviously adore what they do and it felt like being looked after by friends and that our weekend was the most important. The next day they continued to help out with packing up and we were devastated to be leaving our Merriscourt bubble! We can’t wait to come back and visit.

Myself and my wife Paige recently got married at Merriscourt and it couldn't have been more perfect! Emily was such an amazing help making sure every little detail and vision came to life, the food was delicious and our guests were complimenting us on the stunning views all day. We were able to stay at the venue from Friday-Sunday and all staff were more than accommodating throughout this time. Don’t even consider getting married here – just do it! The venue is absolutely stunning, the food is some of the best we’ve tasted and everything about the whole day was utterly incredible. Emily went so above and beyond, looking after us not just on the day but also in the lead up; answering questions (no matter how trivial!), having video calls with us and putting our minds at ease if we had any concerns. The day itself was just perfection (aside from the rain – but Emily knew exactly the right things to say to make us forget about the fabulous English summer weather!), and the team are an exceptionally well-oiled machine, making sure that all the guests were wonderfully looked after and everything ran smoothly. We had so many compliments about how beautiful Merriscourt is and how superb the food was! We knew from our first journey up the driveway that the venue would be something special, and after our viewing we were absolutely besotted with it. We couldn’t have asked for more and are incredibly grateful to Emily, Tom and the whole team for helping to create the most perfect day for our wedding.

My husband and I got married at Merriscourt on 3rd August 2024. As soon as we arrived at our viewing we both fell in love with the place. We loved the three different barns and how they all interlinked and also the amazing accommodation which meant we could have our close family and friends staying for the weekend. The views are amazing and we were lucky to have lovely weather to have our reception drinks on the front lawn in the beautiful Cotswold hills. The food was INCREDIBLE! Honesty, we had so many people mention the food was the best wedding food they have ever eaten!! Nothing was too much for Emily and Paige, they are with you every step and would always be there with a solution. Merriscourt will hold a very special place in our hearts. It really was the best day of our lives! Thank you all so much!!

Myself and my husband had the pleasure of getting married at Merriscourt on the 1st August 2024. From our initial conversation to the big day, everything ran smoothly with great communication. We had such an incredible day and all of our guests would agree. The venue is beautiful, the grounds are so well kept. The food was amazing and all of our guests could not speak more highly about the quality of the produce. If you want a perfectly organised Cotswold wedding, I would 100% recommend Merriscourt. I want to thank Emily, Eva and Paige for making our day as special as I could have ever imagined.

The venue was absolutely stunning, especially outside in the sun. The staff were amazing, especially Emily, the day would not have been what it was without them. They made the day work seamlessly, they were super accommodating and we can’t thank them enough.

Where do we start!!! Merriscourt is a truly stunning venue and was perfect for our winter wedding on NYE as they can host everything inside in the three barns with no need to go outside. The lovely accommodation is perfect for hosting the wedding party and means you can spread the celebrations over more than a day. Eva and Emily were a delight to work with and made planning soooo much easier. The planning meetings we had were so helpful and on the day Eva was amazing, ensuring everyone remained calm, and the day ran without a hitch. It is also worth noting that we found Merriscourt to be much more flexible, e.g. on decoration and corkage etc, than other wedding venues we looked at. The food was exceptional (we had lots of compliments from guests) and we hired their lovely Bentley which we would highly recommend. You won't regret booking Merriscourt. We had the best day!!

We’re still floating on cloud nine from our magical wedding at Merriscourt, and so much of that joy is thanks to Merriscourt and their incredible team who made everything possible! Merriscourt is truly a stunning venue, beyond words. It added such charm and elegance to our celebration, making it feel like a fairytale. Every corner was perfect and provided the most amazing backdrop for our special day. From the very beginning to the final delivery, Emily, Eva, and Paige made the planning process easy and stress-free. From the invitations to the open days and our meetings, everything felt natural and showed how much the team cares about making the big day extra special. On the wedding day itself, everything flowed seamlessly. The decorations were beautiful, the schedule was perfect, and every detail was spot-on. Our guests have been showering us with compliments about how gorgeous everything looked, how delicious the food was, and how much fun they had. Despite a few showers, the team effortlessly worked around the brief spells of rain. We were able to relax and truly enjoy our day because we knew everything was under control. Their attentiveness made us feel so special and well-cared for, and we can’t thank the team enough for that. Emily, Eva, and Paige, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we will always be grateful for everything you did.

How do you describe Merriscourt in one review, we cant! Words cannot describe just how incredible the team are! Eva and Emily made our Wedding journey one we will never forget. They made the planning process so enjoyable when i know it can bring alot of stress and anxiety. Be rest assured you will have professionals helping you every step of the way and have thought of EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING, strategically parking their cars in a way so guest will follow 😉 it’s those little things that make a huge difference. We personally loved that even with so many couples walking through the door they will always remember who you are! We fell inlove as soon as we drove into Merriscourt with everything decorated to high standard, from the barns to the accommodation. The grounds look gorgeous with every season giving you perfect back drops for those photos where ever you turn. One thing you can guarantee is you’ll have the BEST FOOD! Every guest commented on how amazing the food was on our wedding day. You don’t only come away with amazing memories of your wedding, you also come away making amazing friends in Eva and Emily.

Wow what a venue. When we first went to look around we were blown away, and then when we had the actual weekend it went far beyond our expectations. Alot of this is down to Eva and Emily who are friendly, relaxed and yet fully on it - making everything feel so smooth. Their communication beforehand and during was really informative and useful - and they were so helpful the day before in helping us to set up. We loved the fact you can have the venue for the full weekend and not just on the day like some places (e.g. set up in the morning etc.). Instead we got to set up on the Friday and then relax before our big day. The accommodation on site meant both of our close families and wedding party were able to stay over the weekend - and enjoy a full Cotswolds weekend which people loved. It is also such a picturesque venue, which makes it such a beautiful setting to get married - even in spring. On top of this, the food on the day was so impressive. We had the roast chicken and everyone loved it! I can imagine it must be tough catering for big numbers and making each one tasty (and not dry etc.) but they absolutely smashed it. We would 1000% recommend having your wedding at Merriscourt and have a million great things to say about it! Thank you Emily and Eva!
