We’re here for the terracotta orange bridesmaid dresses and breathtaking Tuscan views. Seriously, do not miss this one. Claire & David said their I-do's at the iconic Villa Catignano; with a rustic charm, stunning setting and relaxed vibe. The epitome of an Italian dream. Recommended Supplier, Benni Carol Photography were on hand to capture this beautiful day, complete with plenty of personal details throughout. Claire wore a romantic floral lace dress from Emmy Mae Bridal, complete with a dramatic cathedral veil from Recommended Supplier, Made With Love, and pearl-drop earrings from Annoushka. With three days of eating, drinking, and partying, we can safely say we would have liked an invite to this one! Claire & David’s great taste doesn't stop there, they also opted for Recommended Supplier, Prezola, to supply their Gift List!
Claire lost her mom right after we got engaged and planning the wedding was tough. As she was a native Italian, Tuscany was a no-brainer. From the tambourines (her mom's maiden name was Tamburini) to the flowers (the orchids in Claire's bouquet were the same as her Mom's on her wedding day), we ensured that her presence was felt on the day. The Gloves ended their set with "Nessun Dorma” her favourite song. It was unplanned and made us feel, that it was her way of telling us she was there.

Claire & David found their Recommended Suppliers and incredible photographers, Bennie Carol, via Rock My Wedding! An engagement session just before the wedding was the perfect opportunity to ensure their personalities clicked. An important part of things when working with your suppliers! In fact, Claire & David put it perfectly themselves; “It's so important to feel comfortable around your photographers and videographers. They literally follow you around on the most intimate day of your life. It helped that it felt like we were just hanging out with old pals.”
Claire & David found the Villa Catignano to have an amazing spirit. Exuding a laid-back elegance that represents what they believe to be the essence of Italy: "La Dolce Vita." With three days of non-stop eating, partying and drinking, they wanted their guests to feel relaxed. Their overarching goal was to remind everyone that the gloom of the pandemic was well and truly over. Styling-wise, they drew upon the natural beauty of the villa for inspiration. Choosing colours that complimented the rustic charm of the surroundings - sunset pinks, wine reds, burnt oranges and olive greens.
I knew from the start that I wanted my bridesmaids to choose their own colours and styles to showcase how beautifully unique each one of them are. There was a range of ages, skin tones and body types. I wanted to make sure that they all felt confident and comfortable. I selected a few colours from Jenny Yoo's bridesmaid collection for a bit of inspiration; English Rose, Sedona Sunset, Hibiscus.
