If you're looking for incredible blush wedding inspiration, the smiliest bride ever and some beautiful bridesmaids in mismatched dresses, then look no further! Because we have got it all at this wedding at White Pond Farm. Autumnal tones and personal touches were used to create this couple's perfect day. Wooden tables in the marquee, fairy lights and lush florals complimented the rustic setting. Whilst Recommended supplier Virginia's Vintage Hire were on hand to kit out the bride and groom with everything they needed to pull off their big day. The bride beamed in a beautiful Pronovias dress with lace detail and a scoop back. A perfect summer wedding!
For us, the importance was celebrating our marriage with our loved ones. We wanted the day to be relaxed and fun, with great food and a busy dance floor! Having attended weddings in the past, we wanted to have the whole wedding at one site, making the day as seamless as possible. We used the barn for the service and a marquee set in the hills for the reception. The venue is rarely used for weddings so we completely decorated it ourselves. This allowed us to have a beautiful wedding in a unique and stunning setting.

My partner and I actually met at school, so we both grew up in the same area. A lot of our time growing up was spent outside and on walks or at pubs in the Chilterns. So this felt like the perfect setting for our big day. I'm an absolute sucker for a good view! We were especially eager for a marquee reception with an outlook onto the hills, which is why we chose White Pond Farm. The styling was laid back with warm Autumnal colours that complemented the surroundings.

Having a stripped-back farm venue was such a gorgeous blank canvas to design our wedding. The owners were an absolute dream to work with and allowed us to do whatever we wanted. We decorated the venue with flowers, fairy lights, furniture and I have to say I'm quite proud of the final event! Having such a unique wedding was very special, I would recommend it to anyone. Our friends arrived and immediately said the wedding was very 'us' which we loved.

Now we are sure you have all heard of the best man speech so why not let your bridesmaids have a say too! This bride broke tradition and enlisted the help of her best friends and mother to say a few words. And if you want to get everyone involved then why not have the bride say a few words too. It's becoming more popular for the bride to take to the mic (and we don't mean after a few too many glasses of champagne and their rendition of Angels by Robbie Williams)! So if you are a bride and you are thinking about leading a toast, then we have a podcast episode dedicated on how to write a bride's speech!
