Yeehaw! We’ve got some Chris Stapleton playing in the background because today we’re writing about a country-themed wedding at Recommended Venue, Stone Barn! The vibe Kathryn & Mark chose for their day was country cowboy glamour. There was a luxe vibe to the day with a black tie dress code, sparkling Eva Lendel wedding dress and classic white florals. This was perfectly complemented by the rustic venue and cowboy hats! Captured by Recommended Supplier, Winnington + Coe Photography, this day just looks incredible! Of course, we have to mention what we’re calling a ‘rug’ wedding cake by Recommended Supplier, The Proof! Let’s get into this country western theme wedding day!
Winnington + Coe, our photographer, stole the show. They made everyone, especially my husband and I, feel relaxed and it shows in the photos. Hannah Louise MUA also deserves a shout-out because she made me feel like a million dollars!
Kathryn & Mark
Kathryn & Mark created a country music-themed wedding they’d always dreamed of. The vibe of the day was country cowboy glamour. The couple chose a black tie dress code with cowboy hats to complement the rustic Stone Barn. Kathryn chose the multiway navy bridesmaid dress for the bridal party. Her priority when deciding on the dress style was making her bridesmaids feel beautiful and comfortable. To pair with her sparkly Eva Lendel dress, Kathryn wore a pearl hair clip and gave the other matching clip to her maid of honour!
We asked Kathryn & Mark for their advice to other planning couples. This is what they said! Your wedding should reflect who you are as a couple. Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't do on your day. The possibilities are endless, so go for it! Plan a couple of moments throughout your day where you can get some alone time as husband and wife. We'd recommend a last dance completely alone! Don't stress about the minor details, you'll have the best day ever and those tiny things won’t actually matter on the day.
There were so many phenomenal moments. It’s hard to choose one favourite moment, but the last dance stands out to us. It was quiet and intimate. Our phenomenal band played a song that Mark and I are obsessed with - Forever After All by Luke Combs. We just sang our heads off and danced together without anyone watching. It honestly felt like it was just us in the whole world at that moment.
