There are so many standout details at this fabulous summer wedding, but we think the hydration station might be taking the crown for this one. The soft muted pink and copper tablescape is coming in a close second, which was captured by our Recommended photographer, Poppy Carter Portraits. The overall vibes are saying romantic and rustic elegance to us. The wedding is complete with adorable personalised touches including gorgeous accessories from our Recommended supplier, Saint Beth Official. Plus there's also a 'Pimp your Prosecco' station, which is where you'd have found us if we attended.
I designed all of our stationery for the actual day—hand painting signs and using downloadable fonts to create prints, which I framed in copper photo frames.

This summer wedding is making us wish we had an invite! The couple ensured guests were well taken care of with the stunning rustic hydration station. There was also a lemonade and lolly stand to cool everyone down in the glorious August sunshine. They had a 'Pimp your Prosecco' station, and a selection of fruit purées and garnishes to add that refreshing twist and jazz things up. Don't worry about booking that babysitter! There was even a play area for the children to keep themselves occupied. But hold on, it doesn't stop there. They also had three menus for vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters, so you'll be assured you'll be getting some of that yummy food no matter your dietary requirements.
The wedding took place at Micklefield Hall, which is giving us all the rustic barn vibes you could ever want. The couple got all their inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest, which is how their dreamy tablescape came to be. Made up of soft muted pink details, copper cutlery and stunning tall flower centrepieces, this tablescape is certainly catching our eyes. Hannah and Jamie were steadfast in their vision and handpicked suppliers to ensure combining romance and rustic elegance was a success! The hydration station was styled to match the romantic and rustic elegance with rustic ladders and milk bottles.
We know it isn't just our throats closing up. Maybe we should take a trip to our own hydration station... This wedding was full of sentimental touches from friends and family. Hannah wore a diamond necklace gifted to her on the morning of the wedding by the groom, and Jamie also had a pocketwatch lovingly restored and gifted by his father and a coin from his late grandfather. The groomsmen were all gifted personalised initial cufflinks made from whiskey barrels! Yes, you read that right. The couple set up an area of family photos for those that couldn't be there on their special day. A fun DIY project that was featured at the wedding was an 'Our Story' board handpainted by the bride. It showed the couple's journey from the first meeting to the wedding, which has got us reaching for the box of tissues.
Having been to weddings in the past, I really tried to think of our guests’ experience when planning our day.
