Wedding Bouncy Castle

Photography by Kirsty Mackenzie Photography

If you're looking for some inspiring and unique entertainment ideas, a wedding bouncy castle might be something you've never seen. Jess & Ben wanted a day of fun and love, so they had a pizza truck, candy floss and dessert pods with a multitude of sweet treats to accompany their wedding bouncy castle. The couple had a lot of pinks throughout their day like those pink bridesmaid dresses from Recommended supplier, TH&TH Bridesmaids. Capturing the fun day was Recommended supplier, Kirsty Mackenzie Photography. The couple also chose Recommended supplier, Prezola, for their gift list.

Our amazing photographer, Kirsty, stole the show! She not only is an extremely talented photographer but was also incredible support to have with us on the wedding day. From her Bluetooth speaker providing a soundtrack, to our group photos, to dishing out Tic Tacs, to the bridal party and counselling us on all things wedding day! The dedication and diligence she puts into her photography are second to none. Kirsty has such a calming presence and her relaxed and natural style meant she blended in as one of the guests, and produced beautiful photos which we will treasure.

Styling & Ceremony

The couple decided on a humanist ceremony as they wanted it to be personal and unique to them. Jess & Ben found it important to have freedom in what was included in their ceremony. The overall vibe of the day was whimsical and romantic. With this in mind, they styled the day with a lot of classic and rustic elements. Silchester Farm provided a rustic backdrop, which they added to with pinks, ivory, and touches of gold with the moongate, lanterns and candlesticks to add more of a luxe feel. Their tablescape was full of bud vases, loose floral arrangements and pillar candles to emphasise that romantic feel.

Wedding Bouncy Castle

Jess & Ben wanted to have a relaxed and fun-loving day, so naturally, they chose a white wedding bouncy castle. In the evening, they had candy floss, a pizza truck and a dessert pod all outside. These photos have got us wanting a sweet treat! Chocolate, anyone? They wanted guests to eat as and when they wanted to. For finding these awesome suppliers, they attended wedding fairs and used Rock My Wedding to research. They used our filters to search via area and compare multiple suppliers at a time. They also had a budget, so they were strict with what suppliers they looked into.

Readings & First Dance

The music for this wedding is so beautiful. The couple had a string quartet play ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’ as Jess walked down the aisle and then they exited to ‘Everlasting Love’ by Natalie Cole. One of Jess & Ben’s favourite moments of the day is their first dance. Where they were able to slow down and be present to an acoustic version of ‘The One’ by Kodaline. They also loved the speeches especially the Father of the Bride speech, as he fancies himself a bit of a comedian! Taking their golden hour couple portraits was also a highlight. They chose ‘Maybe’ by Anonymous for their reading from the Rock My Wedding planning section.

Dessert pods and candyfloss are an incredible idea if you have a sweet tooth and the wedding cake isn't enough!

Consider what is most important to you and your partner about the day and this will help you prioritise things. Try to stay organised with a spreadsheet or a separate email address/folder as this can be really helpful to keep track of suppliers and budget. It's easy to get wrapped up in the little details but remember that at the end of the day it is not just about the wedding but also the marriage that follows, and the most important thing is you will get to marry your person in front of your loved ones.

Jess & Ben

The wedding bouncy castle is certainly a major highlight of this wedding. The other highlight of this day could arguably be those yummy desserts. If you haven't got your fill from these images, maybe you will by looking at these iced wedding cakes as well! Maybe seeing those gorgeous TH&TH bridesmaid dresses has persuaded you that pink bridesmaid dresses are the one for you.
