Rachel & Tatum put all of their personalities into the day and created a boho disco extravaganza at the gorgeous Recommended Venue, Riverlands Wedding Barns. The couple loves festivals and has an appreciation for all music with live singers, musicians, and DJs playing all genres of music. They even had a boogie when signing their papers. The day was non-stop entertainment from start to finish. The Rock ’n’ Roll brides provided energy all day long and thanks to their incredible photographers, Kazooieloki Photography, who are also one of our Recommended suppliers, all of that energy was reflected in their wedding photos.

The photographers were amazing and gave us exactly what we wanted. We’ve always said we didn’t want to waste time being taken away from our guests for large chunks of the day to have staged photos and miss out on everything going on around us, and not only did they manage to capture the most amazing action shots and natural photos we wanted to look back on, but they also managed to quickly get all of the essential family pics we wanted as well leaving us to have more time to mingle and enjoy the party! They made us feel so comfortable to be ourselves and the photos are definitely a reflection of that!

Boho Chic Wedding At Riverlands
Rachel & Tatum wanted a dreamy boho wedding and they created beautiful boho-chic styling throughout the venue. Riverlands Wedding Barns has two gorgeous rustic barns and they were both decorated from head to toe in pampas grass and macrame along with fairy lights. Literal chef’s kiss! Rachel & Tatum have always been into boho, hippy vibes and wanted relaxed aesthetics at their wedding to match this. They also created a homely, charming vibe that is true to their tastes. On top of this, the couple and their friends love attending festivals. Having glamping accommodations on-site for their guests gave the whole day a relaxed and fun festival feeling. It brought back so many memories and created new ones that guests can reminisce about too.
Rock ’n’ Roll Brides At Barn Wedding
One of the main things Rachel & Tatum wanted was a light-hearted, fun day. That meant nothing was too serious, formal or conventional. After looking back on all of the amazing pictures and hearing feedback from guests Rachel & Tatum said their day couldn’t have been more perfect! The celebrant definitely set the tone for the day straight off the back by getting all of the guests to sing karaoke before the bridal party walked down the aisle! The energy was through the roof all day. In Rachel & Tatum’s words, “We rocked out, dutty wined and boogied from dusk till dawn, and even got our 3 chihuahuas involved!” The brides’ favourite moment was walking into their wedding breakfast as wife and wife wearing their matching leather jackets while ‘Feeling Good’ by Muse played. Iconic.

Our advice is to enjoy every second, it’s stressful at times but it goes so fast and all the work really does make it worth it in the end so have fun with it! Also, be true to yourselves and make the wedding exactly what you want it to be, don’t let anyone influence your decisions and don’t feel pressured into doing what’s conventional! Make it a showcase of what you both love!
