Pastel Pink and Green Wedding Theme

We just love a pastel pink and green wedding! It's one of our favourite colour palettes for weddings because it's so classic and timeless whilst still playing with colour! Holly & Ian married at Recommended venue, Preston Court, with a pink and green theme to go with their fun fairground vibe and carousel. On hand to capture this wedding day that we’re just crazy about were Recommended suppliers, Poppy Carter Portraits and Mooncast Films. Holly & Ian also chose Recommended supplier, Prezola, for their gift list. Plus, Holly & Ian had Recommended supplier, Audio Guest Book, so their guests could leave the couple audio messages to listen back to.

Pastel pink and green wedding at Preston Court

Our venue was found through Rock My Wedding. We spent a lot of time on Rock My Wedding and cross-referencing to Instagram to find the best suppliers. It was important that we gelled with our suppliers and they got us as a couple. Our suppliers ended up being more like our friends on our big day, making it extra special for us.

Pastel Pink and Green Wedding

For Holly & Ian, every detail was going to be personalised as they're both Type A people. Preston Court has a vintage carousel and when the couple saw this, they wanted to extend the theme with fairground games for entertainment. The pinks and blues of the vintage organs behind the altar look incredible too! The rustic look wasn't the vibe for Holly & Ian, who wanted something more fun with some romance. They had a pastel pink and green wedding colour scheme including pink and green bridesmaid dresses (two of the most popular colours of bridesmaid dresses!). From the Vanity Fair style group photos, a champagne tower, pizza truck, wandering band, DIY personalised leather jackets, neon signs, an ice cream cart, and a pimp your prosecco station! The list goes on!

The Details

Holly & Ian worked hard to bring their day to life with lots of little details, which everyone commented on and enjoyed! The couple said all the planning was worth it to see how much their guests enjoyed the day. The carousel and fairground games were still being used at midnight! The wedding had a strong Taylor Swift theme from the music choices (including a choreographed outdoor first dance to 'Lover' by Taylor Swift) to the table names! The wedding menu was fully vegetarian to cater to their guest's requirements. The couple chose their wedding readings through us too! They had a wedding reading from Sex and the City and Maybe by Anon read out during their ceremony. Holly & Ian also had some DIY in their day! They designed their on-the-day stationery, signage and place names!
