That resulted in this pink extravaganza at Recommended Venue, The Shack Revolution, complete with pink dried wedding flowers, custom neon signs, the sparkliest wedding dress we’ve ever seen and a first dance to ‘Down’ by Jay Sean, it’s safe to say the vibes were immaculate and definitely Rock My Wedding approved. Between us both, we don’t have a favourite moment of the day! Truthfully, we both answered 'all of it'. But if I did have to choose, I think for me, (Jayna), it was the moment we recited our vows - knowing I'd never been more sure about the words I was professing more than I did at that moment. Jay is still sticking to 'all of it!'

The Shack Revolution Wedding
This wedding doesn’t really fit into any specific theme and that’s what we love about it! Jayna & Jay created a truly unique vision for their wedding day that was based on their energy, vibrancy and love they have for each other, hence all the hot pink and neon signs! Jayna & Jay’s journey together has been unique in terms of life experiences both personally and as a couple. Jayna & Jay said, “Most couples, especially within the South Asian community, choose to get married quite soon after their relationship begins to progress. Instead, we turned things on its head because it suited our goals. When it came to the wedding, we just wanted to celebrate how far we’d come and the journey we were about to continue on.”
In Memory of Loved Ones
In sticking with the theme of celebration, in memory of Jayna’s father, the couple had the idea to have a personalised neon sign that they could hang behind the top table and dance floor. His nickname was ‘Jam’, and so the sign they had made read, “We’re Jammin’”. Given that Jam was quite the party animal, this was so fitting and the couple could comfortably say that they definitely felt his party spirit throughout the whole of the wedding day. The neon sign now hangs proudly in Jayna’s mum’s living room.
