Halloween Wedding with Autumn Flowers & Black Wedding Dress

As the stylist, I created a boho-inspired palette of warm tones mixed with deep colours which you can see reflected across all parts of the shoot. From the flowers in the crowns to the ribbons on the tables, everything belongs. "Theme" can often be a scary word, but I wanted to acknowledge Halloween in an ultra-modern way. By choosing deep colours, you feel the warmth of autumn. Even on the cake, Chelsea created shards of chocolate which almost looked on fire. Sometimes nature doesn't entirely give you the aesthetic you need, so I painted pumpkins to further nod toward the scary season.

A lot of brides struggle to pick an aesthetic. Do they choose a traditional bridal dress which is pretty and sophisticated or a modern edgier look? We wanted to show how easy it is to do both. Starting with loose curls, a soft makeup look, and couture bows, the model looked effortlessly angelic in her white Stephanie Allin dress. The look then transformed into the girl we all want to be, with heavier makeup, modern fishtail plait, and figure-hugging black dress. Her shoes changed from trendy, soft, oversized bows to edgy black and pearl killer heels. You can see how easily a traditionally girly look can transform into a fiercely cool vibe. We styled the groom in a chic modern velvet blazer with simple trousers. The highlight of his outfit is the "choose love" T-shirt, which not only displays a vital message but also supports the Choose Love Refugee Charity.

Micro Wedding

We wanted to show how smaller weddings can still be fun, over the top, and worth celebrating. Weddings should be remembered, and how could you possibly forget pumpkins exuding purple smoke. Olegs created some of the most incredible images of the day at this moment. Throughout the photos and film, you'll see laughing, movement, and fun—something we all need to prioritise during these difficult times. The team had a brilliant time on site, and it shows. Ultimately, this shoot exists to encourage couples to unleash their inner rocker. To celebrate small weddings, and show just how phenomenal autumn can be.
