VISION
The Twelve Days of Christmas is a fine art love story, shot at St Giles House, Wimborne, England - home of Lord & Lady Shaftesbury.
ST GILES HOUSE
"The chandeliers have fallen and the wallpaper peels away, but the moments lived within this historic family home whisper through the cracks in the stucco. The passage of time has not always been kind, but a sense of stately elegance remains. Inside, the bride - young, vibrant, perhaps a daughter of high society - awaits her true but absent love. From a distance, the true love sends ever more elaborate gifts while our heroine restlessly paces the floors and ballrooms, hoping for his return." - Eleanor Jane
INSPIRATION & STYLING
"We referenced all twelve of the gifts named in the song, some more conceptually than others, amid a collection of beautiful bridal portraits. We used antique pieces within the story - from small details such as the brass pipe and handwritten dance card to the marching band drums in the grand finale. The colours are a soft, feminine take on a winter palette featuring dusky pinks, grey marble and warm antique brass tones. Our florist selected the new garden rose - the Toffee Rose - and burgundy ranunculus to add depth to the floral design. Florals were tied with Lancaster & Cornish hand-dyed, vegan-friendly bamboo silk ribbons. " - Eleanor Jane

On the third day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… three French hens. On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… four calling birds. On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… five gold rings. On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… six geese a-laying. On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… seven swans a-swimming. On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… eight maids a-milking. On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… nine ladies dancing. On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… ten lords a-leaping. On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… eleven pipers piping. On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me… twelve drummers drumming.
