Strap yourselves in and get ready for Sin & Daniel’s St Stephen’s church Hampstead wedding. Wanting a stylish and playful day, this gorgeous couple opted for bright and bold florals, beautifully styled & planned by Dita Rosted Events. They had a lion dance troupe accompany them as they entered their wedding reception. Much to the delight of their guests! Sin & Daniel used Rock My Wedding whilst planning their day, as they wanted a supplier list that was diverse and reflected their multicultural roots. Recommended Supplier, Ayesha Photography captured their day beautifully, alongside bridesmaid dresses from Rewritten Bridesmaids and stationery from Papier. We had cardboard cutouts of our dog, Shakira, to greet our guests as she wasn't able to join us on the day. It was important that she was there and honoured the commitment we made as a family.
Sin & Daniel
Sin & Daniel opted for a humanist wedding, which provided a retelling of their story; such as their love for dancing and adventure. This beautiful venue allowed for their ceremony and reception, enhanced through beautifully bright florals and incredible decor throughout. Dita Rosted Events provided On The Day coordination, something Sin & Daniel recommend if your venue is dry-hire, as this allowed them to enjoy their day!
For Daniel, his favourite memory was their first dance to Jamiroquai's Canned Heat. Mimicking the last scene in Napoleon Dynamite (we’re a little obsessed with this aspect of the wedding day). They spent the last week rehearsing the dance from a YouTube video. It was a relief when they could hear their wedding party cheering them on, having recognised the dance! They also both agreed the confetti throw was a moment of utter joy.
Dan did a 30min DJ set at the end of our wedding to signal the start of our afterparty in Camden.
Sin & Daniel
Sin & Daniel’s St Stephen’s church Hampstead wedding is the perfect example of a dry-hire venue and what it can offer you! We’re also loving their incredibly personal wedding ceremony and their inclusion of Sin’s Chinese heritage throughout. And of course, a moment for that on-trend retro wedding cake…
