If you fancy edging up your wedding look, then a bridal two piece set is a great option. Luckily enough, this incredibly stylish London elopement shoot at Recommended supplier 100 Barrington features not only a bridal two piece, but also a gorgeous classic white wedding car, and a stripped-back style. Recommended supplier David Dean Photographic noted that some of his favourite weddings over the years have been stripped back and simple. Just the couple, a great venue, and an amazing city. Lest we forget, incredible wedding transport in the shape of a convertible classic Fiat 500 from Recommended supplier Lil & Blue! At the end of the day, you want the feeling of love to be pouring out of the photos more than anything else. And might we add, David Dean did this splendidly. We simply can't stop gazing adoringly over these photos...
Some of my favourite weddings over the years have been stripped back and simple. Just all about the happy couple. It was important to me that we replicated that with an elopement-style shoot. Just two people, a great venue and an amazing city too. It was also important to me to work with a couple from diverse backgrounds. There's a real lack of representation in the industry.

When wedding planning, it's very easy to immediately jump to the conclusion that a wedding dress is needed for the bride. And listen, we adore dresses, in every shape and form. However, we also want to remind you that a wedding dress isn't the sole way to go. Welcome to the stage, a bridal two piece set. Two pieces used to be seen as a little old-fashioned, but are now increasingly becoming more popular. They offer a fantastic fit and silhouette, and it's easier to create your own look and show off your personality more. And arguably the best part? They are very versatile, and much easier to re-use after your wedding day! Sustainable and stylish? It's fashionable mutual inclusivity, baby!
The inspiration behind the shoot was stripped-back and stylish elopement vibes. David Dean Photogenic didn't want anything too crazy or wild fashion-wise to take away from the beauty of the day, the bride, or the venue. With a more stripped-back shoot, the beauty and love are better expressed and shown through the photos. The flashiest part of this stylish London elopement was definitely the classic vintage white car. Wedding transport is a great way to add a bit of va-va-voom (or va-va-broom-broom?) to a simpler day. The convertible Fiat 500 adds that little extra bit of classiness, tying together the whole shoot perfectly.
The inspiration for the bridal style was to remain "bridal", but to not be the traditional puffy dress, something slightly alternative. And as for the groom, who doesn't love a tux!

Oh, to elope in fantastic clothes at such a gorgeous venue. It's quite literally a dream come true. If the bride's alternative bridal outfit is ticking your boxes, then maybe a bridal suit or jumpsuit could do the same. If it was the fabulous backdrop of 100 Barrington, and you want to find yourself a similar venue, then you need to be prepared when visiting. Our list of questions to ask your wedding venue (as well as a PDF printout - thank us later) will certainly be helpful in that department.
