Now let's take a look at which weddings made it onto our chart...
Becci and George's intimate London wedding absolutely floored us. The fun pictures of Becci with her bridesmaids in navy dresses on the morning of the wedding were killer. As is the shot of George leaning Becci over for a kiss on the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall steps. Plus, you all know how we feel about a trouser suit! Yep, Becci switched her princess wedding dress for a two-piece and nailed that look too!
Beth was just 16 weeks pregnant when she got married to TC at their intimate town hall wedding and looked incredible in sequins. They exchanged personalised vows and said it felt extra special to have their little rainbow baby growing between them as they stood at the altar. Their day was minimalist, completely them, and everything they hoped it would be.
Tissues at the ready because Holly and Kurt's Sale registry office wedding has the most beautiful story. Having been engaged for six years, Kurt turned to Holly on a sunny day during lockdown and said “let’s get married”. So, 8 weeks later, and using the pandemic to their advantage they said their I-do’s with their children beside them. They celebrated back home with their closest family, tapas and love. So much love.
Lisa and Gareth's tropical wedding was held at The Grand Exotic wedding venue in South Africa and definitely lived up to its name! There were parrots, pineapples and an explosion of colour and fun! But, Lisa's was most definitely the star of the show in a white and gold wedding dress, flanked by her groom Gareth in a tuxedo and her best girls in sparkly green bridesmaid dresses. Seeing is most definitely believing with this wedding!
Eleanor and Karissa's Lesbian wedding at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens uses local suppliers, is full of colour and will have you smiling from beginning to end. Karissa and her bridal party wore fierce suits, bringing stylish city vibes to this outdoor Cornish wedding, and Eleanor kept things whimsical in a Grace Loves lace gown. Just wait until you see their flower-laden semi-naked wedding cake too!
Jasmine and Stephanie's West Mill Derby wedding has us at smoke bombs and continued to captivate us with their complementing gowns, bouquets and smiles. They had three aisles, walking down the outside aisles simultaneously with their fathers, then descending up the middle aisle together as wife and wife. They also played beer pong and threw a rugby ball around to honour how they first met.
Smiles and sunflowers were the order of the day at Louise and Andy's beautiful Southend Barns wedding. They put together a fun hook a duck seating plan, their bridesmaids wore blue chiffon dresses and they absolutely blew us away with their romantic golden hour portraits. Plus, Recommended venue Southend Barns couldn't have been more accomodating to Andy's accessibility needs.
Ahsen and Burhan chose elements of their cultures they identify with to form their multicultural wedding. Largely having an English wedding whilst maintaining their Islamic observations. And, although their wedding was intimate it was full of love and style. Just look at those delicious green satin bridesmaid dresses!
A black-tie wedding with a showstopping couture wedding dress. It's no wonder Leigh-Gail and Xola's destination wedding made it onto our chart. They decorated their day with luxury gold details and hanging flowers and had their reverend conduct their outdoor ceremony, who gave a powerful sermon on marriage. Wait until you see the golden hour portraits too. Pure fire!
Can you ever go wrong with a London elopement? The answer is no, no you can’t. Damien and JM didn’t expect to marry with just two friends present, but they wouldn’t change a thing. Their wedding was not only full of so much joy (honestly, they don't stop smiling), but it also features one of the best confetti portraits we've ever seen! It probably helps it was captured by Recommended photographer, Miss Gen.
Irram and Daniel brought glamour to their multicultural wedding at Thicket Priory, absolutely killing it in a tuxedo and gold dress. They also include a Nikah ceremony to honour Irram's Pakistani heritage and hired a petting zoo for guests to enjoy. Their day ends with sparklers and makes Irram's dress glisten even more.
Priya and Manny's destination wedding included multiple days of ceremonies, cultures and outfits, and we absolutely loved them all! Everything was so beautiful and unique, including the Gabbinbar gardens littered with flowers and fairy lights.
As soon as we shared the story behind Rose's two-piece suit there wasn't a dry eye in the house! Instagram blew up with messages, and everyone couldn't wait to find out how this love story unfolded. Luckily it wasn't anything like the other Rose and Jack! It also features one of the hottest cab rides ever! With champagne flowing and backseat kisses. Ouff!
Sri-Lankan bride Rebecca gave Superman a run for his money in a couture cape by Recommended supplier Halfpenny London. Spinning her way to her colourful wedding to groom James at The Loft Studios in London. They made a list of priorities they wanted to spend their money on, and the results are off the chart. Wait until you see the floral altar. Wow!
We've fallen for a beautiful wedding dress of two in our time, but we definitely landed with a thud when we saw Hélène's number! As we did when we saw her and Gareth's beautiful boho reception. There were dried flowers, monumental signs, and a draped ceiling with fairy lights. Recommended photographer, Carrie Lavers Photography made sure we wouldn't forget this one in a hurry.
