Cluny Castle

There's not enough words to express our thanks to you all for giving us our dream wedding on Saturday 1 October, it really was the best day of our lives. We have put together just a few words below. We came to view Cluny about a year ago when we were early in the wedding planning process. We instantly fell in love with the Castle, it looked so elegant. The chapel was exactly what we were looking for, and having been shown around the rest of the castle, it was like a fairytale. Having viewed it and found a date that worked perfectly, we couldn’t say no! Right from the outset Natalie was a great help, ensuring all of the details were taken care of. In the build up to our wedding, we were kept well informed about the order of the day (which we were totally in control of - but Natalie’s advice and expertise were invaluable). During the weekend of our wedding, we were welcomed by Natalie and her team at Cluny who showed us to our accommodation and ensued we were settled in prior to running through a rehearsal with us in the beautiful chapel. Natalie was at hand first thing on our wedding day, touching up the last little bits and sorting the little things we had forgotten to do - taking away any stresses we had! She was invaluable throughout the whole day, from helping us organise for our dog to be there during the ceremony to helping with Katie’s veil when it got stuck! When, I’m sure she would have rather been doing other things or having a well deserved break, she was helping the photographers get their perfect shots and still making sure the day was running to schedule. She didn’t stop for one minute and was still working hard long after we had all gone to bed. It’s fair to say that had Natalie have not been there, the day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did. She is an absolute asset to Cluny and should be proud of everything she’s done for us. Natalie really is a superstar and we are so lucky to have met her. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her. We know everyone says your wedding day is the best day of your life, and ours definitely was, but a lot of that was down to the stunning location of Cluny Castle and the all round greatness of Natalie and the team at Cluny. We would recommend Cluny Castle to anyone and we only wish we had an excuse to go back again soon!! Thank you so much for everything, Kindest regards and best wishes to you all for the future. I just want to say the biggest thank you for welcoming me and Bruce to the castle and allowing us to have our ceremony with yourselves, along with our families. It was just amazing and better than anything I could have ever imagined!! The photos are so stunning which was exactly what I was aiming for. We really did have the best of both worlds. Natalie - your help on the day was second to none. I also have your confetti baskets here which we will drop off again. Fiona - thank you for all the initial organizing and for the email of well wishes before hand much appreciated. Cosmo - for owning and looking after such a beautiful place. Ross and I couldn't be more grateful to have had our wedding at Cluny Castle, we feel extremely lucky to have been able to have our special day there. The venue was just perfect and there isn't a single thing we would change about it. From our arrival on the Friday, where our family and wedding party joined us, to waking up in the beautiful bridal suite to get ready for the big day. We were made to feel so welcome and at home from the moment we stepped through the doors. I also wanted to say a huge thank you to the Butler, Duncan. He was there for our every need and more and was just fantastic. With my mom having M.S, Cluny Castle wasnt the easiest of venues for her but Duncan went above and beyond for her, driving her from the entry level to the Tenants Hall to avoid her using the spiral staircase or walking outside, it really meant a lot. Cosmo was also fantastic, to open his home to allow us to have our wedding there truly felt such a privilege. He was there when ever needed and made us feel completely at ease. We were very touched that he and his wife supplied a beautiful welcome hamper, which was so lovely to arrive to, our guests definitely tucked in to that! Louise, we were lost for words with Louise! I couldn't be more grateful to her, she took every pressure away for us. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and to be apart of our wedding. We'd like to thank you all again so much for having us at Cluny. Our day genuinely couldn't have been any more perfect and it will always have a very special place in our hearts. Ross & Jessica x

Our wedding day could not have gone any better - and that is down to your team at Cluny, everyone was fantastic! Thank you all so much! They all made sure that everything went perfectly for us and we will always appreciate that. We really did have the best day of our lives and were so glad to finally be able to have our wedding day! Our day was entirely different to what we had first thought but honestly it was everything we could have hoped for and more - the venue is absolutely stunning, our guests were blown away by it, and even the sun came out for us! After all our ups and downs of the past 18 months - a massive thank you to you all for giving us the wedding day of our dreams! Rachael & Dave x

After re-arranging and then eventually having to cancel our original plans to be married in Barcelona, we made the decision to start completely from scratch (again!), despite having just over a month to plan! After endless searches we came across Cluny Castle and absolutely loved it straight away. It had everything we were looking for – a lovely Chapel for the ceremony, separate areas for the drinks reception (with outdoor and indoor options, weather dependent), a perfect hall for dinner and dancing and beautiful accommodation for our closest family to stay with us. From the start, Fiona was absolutely amazing and helped us throughout the whole planning process, all five weeks of it! We are so happy to say that we never felt that stress of time thanks to Fiona’s help and guidance along the way and she was also there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly for us which was incredible! Cosmo and team were superb. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel really feel comfortable and at home. The wedding day itself was a dream and we can both honestly say it was the best day of our lives (along with some other guests who also felt the same). The castle is unique and has spectacular settings for each part of the day giving you a lot of options. The rooms in the castle are all kept to a high standard with bedding and touches all at the best hotel level. Thank you to everyone at Cluny for your help, support and fantastic hospitality throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical wedding weekend at Cluny Castle.
