An idyllic ceremony by the pond at this Micklefield Hall wedding. The same-sex couple both chose beautiful lace bride dresses for their big day, with the bridesmaids and man-of-honour wearing navy outfits for the celebration. This wedding was full of personal touches and rustic charm, including tree slice centrepieces, a photo frame table plan, a naked wedding cake along with singing waiters who gave everyone a surprise and wowed the guests. And check out the four-legged friends that made a special appearance, the couple's dachshunds looking super dapper in bowties, definitely bringing the cute factor to this big day!

What Made Our Day Unique

The venue was so important to us as and walking down etiher side of the pond towards the alter to get married was a moment we will cherish. We chose the venue because of the beautiful grounds and we were so pleased that it didnt rain on the day! The photos from round the pond and our confetti shots captured the whole day so perfectly.

Micklefield Hall Wedding

The outdoor ceremony at Micklefield Hall wedding venue was stunning, the pond provided the perfect space for friends and family to congregate and enjoy watching the ceremony. The same-sex couple entered separately from either side of the pond, with their navy bridesmaids, meeting at the summer house the other side to say their vows. Drinks on the lawn followed the ceremony and continued the outdoor theme, the reception area was decorated with foliage, natural decor and white wedding flowers to bring the outside in.

Inspiration & Styling

The vibe of the day was to enjoy every moment and have fun! Having all your family and friends relaxed and having a good time was the goal. The outside venue was so green and beautiful so we tried to bring as much of that feel into the barn as well with flowers and natural docor.
