Bryony’s Reformation wedding dress alongside this industrial day is giving us all the vibes! A true labour of love, Bryony & Andy DIY wedding came to life with the help of family. Originally planning to marry in the Spring, their day was moved to November due to postponement, which worked perfectly with Bryony’s love of dried florals and lots of greenery. This gorgeous couple's first home together was a converted Mill, and so marrying at the Bowers Mill, it just felt as though they had come full circle! A huge shoutout to Bryony’s dad for making 17+ copper candelabras and their copper arch - now that’s dedication! You can check it out below…
We both absolutely loved saying our vows in front of all our family and friends. I couldn't stop smiling. My husband was a bit sniffly from being emotional and we both actually punched the air with joy when the registrar announced us as 'husband and wife'. We loved the whole day but the ceremony felt super special.

Bryony’s wedding dress journey was a little unusual. Having never loved the typical style of wedding dress, she looked online for something different. Coming across Reformation, she immediately spotted her dream dress, however, they only had stores in the USA! Thankfully, a few days later they booked a trip to New York. Anthony agreed to find the store with her and whilst she tried on the dress, he ate pizza and drank beer in the bar next door. Of course, it ended up being her wedding dress!
Bryony cared about the small details and had a large space to fill, so she found a wedding stylist priceless! As she has a design background and enjoyed sourcing all the decor herself alongside designing the stationery. However, the closer it got to their wedding day, the more she realised they wouldn’t be able to set it up themselves. Hiring Emily K Weddings was one of the best decisions they made! It took plenty of the stress away on the day. She also suggests really thinking about what is most important to you on the day and starting from there!
I sourced most of the suppliers through Instagram and wedding websites such as Rock My Wedding. I tried to find reviews where I could online, checking wedding forums and suppliers’ social pages. The cost was a huge factor, we weren't on a really tight budget but I didn't want to get carried away, I found it hard at first to work out what was 'reasonable' but friends and family kindly shared what they had paid for suppliers and I found that super helpful. Our florist was a very close family friend, I always knew we would work with her.
