Osea Island Wedding & Peach Accents

We need an Osea Island wedding, and we need it now. Step right up Lindsay and Jonathon! An island, all your favourite people, and a wedding, what more could you want? After 4 wedding dates, 3 lockdowns, and 2 different venues, this couple were truly ready to say their I-do’s. We love the clean aesthetically pleasing styling, which works perfectly alongside the pastel perfect peach colour scheme. Although their beautiful rescue dog couldn’t be with them, he did make an appearance (just check out the cocktails). What makes this wedding even more awesome? How many of our Recommended Suppliers were involved! From The Wedding Shop gift list, to the late night entertainment from the Wedding Smashers, to the videography from Moon & Back, our Recommended Suppliers seriously took over, and we’re here for it.

We were lucky enough to have a wedding planner that recommended suppliers for us. Towards the end, Alex knew us so well that she could immediately narrow the choice down to the one or two suppliers that she knew we would like.

VIBE

We really wanted the weekend to be an escape for us and our guests, so that they wouldn't have to worry about a thing. To get that relaxed feel, we opted for a simple but clean aesthetic which really worked, letting the beauty of Osea shine. And we included small, personal details: the tables were named after Jono's nicknames for me, and the cocktail sticks had pictures of our dog on them.

ADVICE

Double check that your choices are staying true to you. I have to admit that I got a bit carried away by the millions of beautiful inspiration photos. Jono was the one to refocus me and say 'but is this us'? Because of that, our wedding was 100% a reflection of who we are, both individually and as a couple.

We love, love, love a pop of colour! It works so effortlessly against clean styling.

None of this would have been possible without Alex, our wedding planner. Alex immediately understood what we were about and worked tirelessly to give us the day of our dreams. I wouldn't recommend wedding planning through a pandemic but Alex made it as painless as possible. 'In Alex we trust!' became our motto!
