We wanted to create the dream festival wedding, represent body positivity and diversity and work with a real couple. Our shoot was located at Ha Ha Farm in Norfolk, where magic and wonder flourish. This venue has everything, a peaceful landscape, a 360-degree view of rolling patchwork countryside and is set amongst beautiful woodland. The perfect venue for a festival themed wedding!Emily Jo
Due to Covid, all of our weddings were cancelled last summer along with festivals. Desperate to get our creative juices flowing again we quickly pulled together an incredible photoshoot based near Norwich. Over 20 amazing suppliers got involved and it was so much fun. Real couple, Connie and Jack who are planning their own Festival themed wedding next year kindly jumped at the opportunity to get involved and be our models for the day.
The 'festival glam' was brought to life with a festival makeup look along with an abundance of eco-glitter and reusable festival jewels. There were sequins everywhere, along with bright colour flowers and disco-balls! The makeup and hair were designed to complement the bridal jumpsuit glitter and theme and was a natural enhancement of the aesthetic without overpowering the overall look.
Our gorgeous bride Connie for the shoot has ME and can get fatigued. We worked with Array Props and Smoke and Wildwood to create a killer 'Chill Zone.' It was important for us to show that not all weddings have to be centred around the dancefloor. A chill-out area was perfect for Connie and Jack who could enjoy a break from standing in style.Emily Jo
