The burnt orange wedding flowers, the styling, the decor, the VIBES. Yes. We have officially fallen in love with Kiera & Gene’s wedding day. Being a wedding planner herself, Kiera was all about the guest experience. They opted for a black-tie and Autumnal look, complete with plenty of foliage and glittering disco balls. Their day was beautifully captured by Recommended Supplier sister duo, Cara Zagni Photography and second shooter, Reana Sylvana Photography. Of course, Race Wedding Videography was on hand to film each special moment. Their day was incredibly personal, and incorporated Chinese wedding traditions, celebrating Gene’s heritage. So, keep scrolling for neon wedding signs and sparkler exits!
It's as important that your guests enjoy themselves as much as you are - the more fun they have, the more relaxed you'll feel on the day.
Kiera & Gene
Having worked with lots of amazing wedding suppliers within her job, Kiera had a good idea of who would help create her wedding day. Cara Zagni Photography captured their engagement photos and were so beautiful, they didn’t consider anyone else! Cara’s sister, Reana, was their 2nd shooter, and were a power duo behind the lens, leaving Kiera & Gene with 1,000 stunning photos capturing each moment of their day. Having previously worked with Charlotte Staff on styled shoots, Kiera knew she would bring her Autumnal vision to life - including the incredible deconstructed arch at the end of the aisle!
Kiera & Gene opted for a black tie and Autumnal look. They wanted it to be an occasion in which their guests could really dress up. There were plenty of deep oranges and reds throughout, complete with lots of foliage. This flowed through everything, from their wedding stationery to the table decor to the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen pocket squares. There was also a hint of glitz and fun; glitter balls featured at the top of the aisle and into the grounds of the venue. And of course, a moment for the custom neon sign, which is now at home with the newlyweds!
Our celebrant, Jamie Walker, really got to know us, helping us write our own vows (which we kept secret from each other until the big day), including a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with our parents and we even did a shot of tequila to remember our first date.
Kiera & Gene
If you’re loving the burnt orange wedding flowers throughout this gorgeous day, then don’t go anywhere. From the bridesmaid dresses to the floral installations, we can’t get enough. We’re also loving the fact that Kiera & Gene incorporated plenty of personal details throughout, especially their mini bottles of Cognac and Tequila wedding favours!
