Golden hour was definitely up there with our favourite moments of the day. We have the most beautiful photos and also had some alone time to reflect on everything so far. We laughed so much and it was simply perfect. Jo took off the overskirt to reveal the wedding dress and Max's face was exactly the reaction she had hoped for!

The styling for this wedding was incredible! With a red, black, and white colour scheme, Jo & Max's barn wedding has a refreshingly modern feel to it! It was really important to Jo that the bridesmaids shone in their own individual, beautiful ways, so she gave them a budget and colour scheme and let them pick their own dresses and choose how they had their hair and make-up. Funnily, they all went for red dresses! What a statement! With Max and the groomsmen wearing black tuxedos, Jo brought a little bit of black into her own look with black wedding shoes by Manolo Blahnik to complement her halter-neck Halfpenny London wedding dress. Gorgeous!
Wine Box Wedding Ceremony Tradition
Jo & Max wanted to include as many personal touches as possible throughout the day. From the table names being photos of the guests to thanking people on the order of the day signage. The whole vibe of the wedding was centred around their friends and family. They wanted them all involved as much as possible, so Jo & Max supported their friends and family by celebrating their talents and achievements and having most of them as their suppliers for the day. The couple also had a wine box ceremony and asked guests to include signed cards in the box of wine they'll open on their 5th anniversary! The personal touches make your day so special!

Our advice would be to leave 5 minutes spare to stop and breathe before the dress reveal, I wanted to do this with my mum but time was cut short . Ask the venue to put some of the canapés aside because you most likely won't have time to eat it at the time. Plan time to spend with your partner during the day (we didn't have a car so we spent longer having photos at golden hour).
