Well hello there wildflower wedding what a beauty you are. From the unstructured bouquet to the church floral arrangements, every stem was placed to give, maximum wow factor. Which they do it droves! We also love love, love the silver sequin bridesmaid dresses, and in true micro wedding style they wore matching face masks! What a bridal party, and what a celebration.
A pandemic wedding is pretty unique! It made quite a few typical wedding elements impossible but what resulted, as a workaround, was a day we wouldn’t have originally planned but we loved the way it worked out.Saskia & Oliver
Originally we were having a flagged marquee wildflower wedding in a field (hosted by Fiesta Fields). At that time of year, the grasses were a beautiful gold and I really wanted to incorporate that into the decor. I was obsessed with the idea of the field being brought into the church and marquee so we included quite a few floor grass installations. The hints of orange were for my mum who is Dutch.
The whole day was just amazing. I think after months and months of will it go ahead won’t it, the emotional wave that hit when I entered the church to see our closest friends and family there was just so overwhelming. It meant everything. Also, the little moments with just Oli and I were lovely.
As much as you can plan everything down to a T allow mentally for things to not go quite to plan and be open to it. It will be the best day of your life whatever happens.Saskia & Oliver
