Thursford Garden Pavilion

August 2023: We had our wedding party here at Thursford Garden Pavilion. It was truly fantastic in every way we could have hoped for. The venue was perfect for having a celebration with the people we couldn’t get to our special day. Everyone loved the atmosphere that the venue created for us with the rides. We have had so many compliments from our evening and would highly recommend for weddings or a celebration party. A massive thank you to Charlie, Melissa and Emma for making our evening so special.

February 2023: Our wedding at Thursford was a fantastic experience. The team were adaptable to all our wants, needs and requirements and made sure our day was just as we imagined it. Melissa and Emma were on hand to gently and professionally guide us through our day so we could just relax and focus on our guests and enjoy it without worrying about anything else.

August 2023: We would like to start by saying a special thank you to Charlie, Emma, Mel and their team: they were absolutely fantastic with helping us to prepare the venue, they also went above and beyond on the day itself to make sure ensure that everything went as planned and that we and the guests had a wonderful time. It was a grand spectacular from start to finish. A day no one will ever forgot. Even a month later our big day is still the day-to-day topic with everyone. We were all treated like royalty and it felt so special. On our wedding day, we never expected you all to be running the show as you did. It was incredible how little we needed to worry about (if anything). From getting ready at Holly Lodge where our photographer got a surprise breakfast, to Mel getting Kath from Holly Lodge and walking her over to the gardens and setting everything up just as we'd planned. We were truly impressed by the work ethic and the team spirit. So much so that the day after our wedding we wished we could do it all again at Thursford. Thank you so much for making our dreams come true!

February 2023: We knew immediately that we wanted to get married at Thursford. It's a magical, unique place that somehow gets even more beautiful at night. The wedding team are absolutely amazing at everything they do. Every question was answered, every query was helped. Not only are they helpful but the team are so, so friendly. Melissa & Beth were amazing the day before and day of the wedding. They helped with everything from the set up, to calming down nerves to ensuring everything ran smoothly for our special day. All of our guests commented on how magical everything was. We had our ceremony in The Barn which was truly wonderful and the perfect size for us. They loved the rides and steam museum. Everybody had so much fun and the backdrop of the day was one in a million. Thank you Melissa, Beth, Emma and the rest of the Wedding & Events team! You really did make our dream wedding come true.

April 2023: We chose Thursford because of how versatile the venue is and how each part of the venue has a different and unique feel. There is so much inside space to make use of but we had the benefit of choosing the warmest day in April so the outside space was just a bonus for us and our guests. It was so beautiful to see all the outside lights at the venue. We had so many guests say to us that the venue was simply amazing and one of the best weddings they had ever been to. One guest said "You don't go to many weddings where there is a carousel, we won't be forgetting this day in a hurry!" The entire team were fantastic during the whole planning process. Beth was our coordinator for the actual wedding. Her and the rest of the team made the day feel as relaxed and as smooth as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and we can't thank them enough for everything they did to make our day the best it could be (which it was!)
