Stubton Hall

Stubton Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding, gorgeous well kept grounds with beautiful wildlife, old trees, a pond and lake. We had 115 people, 67 from abroad, therefore we took full advantage of the 25 rooms. The venue being close to Newark made it easy for guests to travel up from London on the train too. The night before there was no event so the bar area and drawing room allowed for relaxed pre wedding gathering which was really special as we don’t get to see our British family too often. Laura is a great, calm and organised coordinator giving us the best timeline and confidence in executing all the details for setting up the space as we imagined. The staff at the venue were phenomenal, friendly and tireless with their attention to guests and timeliness of service. The orangery reception room has everything you need, gorgeous garden views, classy bar, uplighting built in. Our guests have said this is the best wedding they’ve been to and the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We had the lamb and Parma ham wrapped chicken for main course and chocolate torte for dessert. We have had an absolute dream wedding at Stubton Hall and would recommend it to anyone.

From the moment we walked through the doors we knew this was the place for our wedding. Every step of planning right up to our ceremony and reception was faultless. Stubton Hall is amazing, kept in pristine condition, beautifully decorated and designed. The staff are fabulous, nothing is too much trouble. On our Wedding Day there wasn't one moment we had to think about arrangements, everything was run seamlessly by Laura and her staff so we could enjoy our day with our guests. We have had so many comments from our guests as to how beautiful the venue was and what a magical day they had. There actually isn't enough words to describe our Wedding Day experience at Stubton Hall, so to sum up.....Absolutely Perfect.

We got married at Stubton Hall in April 2023 and it was the perfect day. We knew we loved the venue as soon as we arrived the first time. Everyone was so helpful throughout the process, and fees etc were clear and easy to understand. The venue is stunning, and all the recommended suppliers are also well worth looking at as they are also fantastic. The food was also amazing, and the day went off without a hitch. Thank you to everyone there it was just amazing!

No compliment is enough to say how wonderful this wedding venue is. From friendly staff, to beautiful surroundings, Stubton Hall was literally the venue of our dreams. The team made our vision ten times better than we could have ever imagined!

We were originally due to get married at another venue, but it went bust 5 months before our big day, so we had to find somewhere else at short notice. We knew Stubton wasn't available on our date, but we decided to go and look round anyway, more to get back into venue hunting than anything else. Needless to say, we absolutely fell in love with Stubton and ended up changing our date again (having already had to change it once due to Covid) so we could get married there. It was definitely worth it. The staff were so much more helpful than our previous venue. They got back to us quickly whenever we had any questions and couldn't have been more accommodating, being flexible with payments while we were waiting for our insurance claim to be settled and making allowances when our already small predicted numbers ended up being even smaller. It all ran very smoothly on the day and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had so many comments about how stunning the venue is, how good the food was and and how helpful all the staff were, and everyone who stayed overnight loved their rooms. The only bad word anyone had to say was how cold it was on the day, which was obviously outside the venue's control! It really was the most perfect day and I wish we could do it all over again. Massive thank you to Rachel and all the staff at Stubton for making our dream wedding a reality.

We recently got married at Stubton and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Laura helped us to coordinate everything from day 1 until the end of our big day and she was amazing. No question was too big or too small or too random. Without Laura we would have been lost! The venue was stunning and well maintained. The rooms for our guests were perfect and made our guests feel special. The whole team at Stubton were professional throughout and helped to make our day special. We couldn't have asked for more or for anywhere better to hold our wedding, we have nothing but positive things to say about Stubton Hall, the staff and especially Laura. All of our guests have said how amazing it was and how beautiful.

We recently got married at Stubton Hall and had the most magical day we could have dreamt of. The location is beautiful and so spacious allowing a good sized guest list which some other venues don’t offer. Our wedding co ordinator Laura was excellent and helped us along the way. Our experience wouldn’t have been the same without Laura and she by far made our day as special as it was. The staff on the day were wonderful and we had nothing go wrong whatsoever it was perfect. During the planning process we did struggle with was not being made aware menu tasting wasn’t a standard practice they offer as we assumed this would be the case however they did accommodate and allowed us to taste the food choices we had as options.

My wife and I selected Stubton Hall for our wedding on 15th July 2023. Anyone that has planned a wedding will know just how much detail and organisation goes into making your day special. Stubton Hall and their amazing staff exceeded all of our expectations and made our day one of a kind. From the day we booked Stubton Hall for our wedding right through to the big day they are there for us. Any anxiety we had was quickly forgotten as the team at Stubton Hall delivered a fantastic day, they are so accommodating to make sure everything is perfect. We would highly recommend Stubton Hall for a wedding.
