Southdowns Manor

We visited Southdowns Manor on a whim as it was a bit out of our location preference however as soon as we pulled up to the venue we fell in love. Jenny who helped us with our enquiry was so helpful and we ended up booking a date that was 6 months later, again this was not in our original plan but was the best thing we ever did! Kate then became our wedding planner and we could not fault her in the slightest. I had an issue with one vendor and she was brilliant in helping me sort it amongst any other issues I had, even helping me decide whether to take the risk and hold the wedding outside as the weather was very 50/50. We originally booked this manor because we wanted to get married outside so we are so glad the weather held out. I used many suppliers from their recommended book and these were fab, so glad they have this available considering I am not from the area. The rooms were beautiful. the honeymoon suit is everything you could want and more to wake up in. These were available on the morning of the wedding which was an added bonus so our guest staying could freshen up beforehand. All the little touches Southdowns add do not go unnoticed either (which I won’t mention in case this gets published and it ruins the surprise for other couples getting married here) Thank you all so much for hosting the best day of our lives, I would do it every day for the rest of my life if I could. Look forward to coming back one day for one of your dinner evenings!

Everything from receiving the brochure for the first time, to our initial first meeting , booking and planning meetings, has run smoothly and to perfection. From our Wedding Planner Kate and initial meeting with Natalie we ended up with the perfect wedding which we will remember always with great fondness. The catering team, events team, housekeeping team were all fantastic, friendly and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend anyone to get married here. Winter or Summer, it really doesn’t matter, you will get the wedding you’ve always dreamed of. Many thanks to all at Southdowns Manor.
