The most amazing wedding venue! Donna, Libby, Daniela and the team were fantastic in the lead up to and during our wedding, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Their service was exceptional, and the venue itself is the most stunning place for a wedding. We can't thank them enough for a wonderful few days and for all their help and expertise in coordinating the perfect wedding day for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Butley Priory as a wedding venue.

Perfection! We selected Butley Priory for our elopement wedding and at every stage it exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is truly enchanting, steeped in history yet also presented in the best possible taste. While the team are caring and delivered a flawless service from start to finish. They were always there when we required them but also never intrusive when we needed five minutes to ourselves. Several local service providers mentioned that Butley was their favourite venue in Suffolk and we feel very lucky to have been wed at such a beautiful place. Highly recommended. 6 stars.

We couldn't have wished for a more perfect wedding weekend at the beautiful Butley Priory. Within seconds of arriving for our first viewing, we fell in love and we just knew it was the one! It's a little haven in the most stunning grounds surrounded by beautiful woodlands which makes it feel so intimate and magical - the most wonderful setting to tie the knot with all our favourite people. We loved having exclusive hire of the venue for the weekend staying on site with 35 of our family and friends across the Priory, two cottages and the epic Farmhouse. Such beautifully decorated accommodation which everyone spoke so highly of - and the Priory bridal suite is just to die for, I wish I could wake up there every day!! And the team...well, they are simply flawless! They were so reliable, across every single detail and nothing was too much trouble. A big shout out to Donna who is exceptional and an absolute delight to work with. Thank you for making our dream wedding day come true! We had the most memorable and special few days celebrating at Butley Priory - it will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and we are very grateful to the entire team. We will most certainly be back for a weekend visit and hopefully another big party in future!! xxx

We hired The Priory and the surrounding on site accommodation for our two day wedding celebration. The venue clearly speaks for itself, it is a special and unique place in a beautiful area of the country, and we fell in love with the Great Hall from our first viewing. But Honor and her team were exceptional at helping us plan our wedding. We're so grateful for all their help, which ensured we got hitched without a hitch! Credit goes to Honor for all her patience, kindness, calmness and help throughout our planning, the day could not have gone better thanks to her, and a special mention to their amazing chef Peter Harrison and to Tor for all their help with the menu and food too. We can't wait to return.

The entire team at Butley Priory are fantastic! From the moment my now husband and I first looked round the venue, Donna was amazing. It is such a gorgeous venue, and it was absolutely perfect for our wedding. The team's communication was always swift and helpful, with their expertise and experience evident. On the day, Honor was incredible! The day before, she took responsibility and control of everything so we could enjoy quality time with our family at the Farmhouse. The day of the wedding, her and her team blended into the background so that we could enjoy the day. Everything ran so smoothly, and we couldn't have asked for anything more from Butley. A massive thanks to everyone at Butley for making our day so stress-free and perfect!

Beautiful venue and wonderful team of Donna and Daniela who did a wonderful, efficient and caring job to make sure our special day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and D & D went out of their way to make sure it was a success. 5 stars from me - and 5 woofs from Syd the dog!

We got married here in September 2023. Our wedding ran so smoothly, we were so pleased. We truly believe it was due to the efficiency and expertise of Donna and the team at Butley. We rented the main venue, farmhouse and two cottages for ourselves and our guests. Everyone was made to feel so welcome and the guests loved their accommodation. We had one guest in particular with disabilities. Donna went above and beyond to accommodate and make this particular guest feel very welcome. She ensured they could be part of our wedding celebration which really meant a lot to us. Donna and the team were excellent from start to finish. Donna was so prompt at replying to our many emails and was always willing to offer suggestions and advice where needed. Her communication and organisation were impeccable which made us feel in very safe hands. Planning a wedding really wasn't so stressful after all. Thank you so much Donna and team! xx

It was a dream. Couldn't have wished for anything more. The most perfect special day so relaxed and chilled. The staff are amazing do everything they can to help. It really is a fairy tale place. We also hired both cottages these are amazing very clean and have everything you need. Big thank you to everyone at Butley for making our dream elopement come true.
