Highly recommend The Next Step Co!! We worked with Yvette on our First Dance and Father Daughter dance and we are so happy with it! We thought we had two left feet and no rhythm but Yvette choreographed a dance that was perfect for each of our comfort levels. Her guided videos really helped us practice on our own time which meant that we were able to learn in just a few lessons! Everyone was super impressed on our wedding day! I can't thank her enough and would recommend The Next Step Co to anyone looking for the perfect Wedding Dance!!

Learning our First Dance was one of the things we enjoyed the most about planning our wedding! This is saying something as we both were so nervous about it! Our Instructor was lovely and professional throughout and made it lots of fun. She created a dance to suit our music and beginner skill level. The three session package was perfect as we built up to the full dance which never felt overwhelming. It was so helpful having the recordings from each session with the voiceover so we could get in a little extra practice. One of our most cherished moments in our wedding day was the practice Tom and I did just before we went into our wedding breakfast just us in our wedding outfits. We also loved “the real thing”. I couldn’t recommend Yvette highly enough! My brother and his wife have just been helped by Yvette on their first dance and it was so special to see how relaxed they were. We love The Next Step Co.

Thank you Yvette and Emma! Emma choreographed our wedding dance/s. We were both beginner ballroom dancers but after 6 lessons (and some home practice) we were able to perform a Shostakovich waltz - even with a lift! - followed (as a surprise to the audience) by an Earth Wind and Fire funky routine, which they also choreographed for us. Yvette also found a practice studio that was close to our address which made regular lessons a lot easier. This enabled us to have lessons on weekday evenings and helped us to feel confident very quickly. Most importantly we had fun in every lesson - the wedding dance practices were not another chore in the wedding planning, but an activity we both looked forward to, and we felt closer as a couple after each dance practice. We would definitely recommend The Next Step Co. for any wedding dance lessons!

Choosing a First Dance for our wedding was probably the most difficult decision we had to make for our wedding day. Even after moving our wedding twice over the course of 2 years, we still didn’t know what song to pick. We finally decided on something fun (less than 2 months before the day!) but knew this meant we had to do an equally fun dance so that it was entertaining for the guests. After a quick google search, we booked The Next Step Co. for 2 lessons to help us with our dance. Fran came to teach us at our house having choreographed a full routine for us! She made us feel totally at ease and was a fantastic teacher. She recorded the full dance so we were able to practice daily until the big day. Our dance ended up being one of the highlights of the day - I will never forget the surprise, joy and laughter on our guests faces. It was priceless! We felt so happy and relaxed throughout the day knowing that we had a plan rather than just swaying awkwardly in the middle of the room. One of the best decisions we made! Thanks Fran & Yvette!

What can we say about the amazing Yvette! From start to finish, she was incredible. I called her on my commute to work around 1 month prior to our wedding date, and she got straight onto organising her schedule to fit us in to create a dance routine for us. My husband (!) and I both have busy corporate jobs, so the fact that she came to our home was even better! She is like a breath of fresh air, so positive and we always finished the sessions feeling so good! Yvette is the type of person you will immediately feel at ease with! She is so naturally creative, it just comes to her with so much ease. If you are looking to do a dance routine for your first dance, I would absolutely recommend TheNextStepCo! If you are considering it - absolutely do it - you will not regret it. Yvette even mixed our first dance song perfectly for us as well, even our DJ couldn’t quite get it right, but Yvette did it straight away!
