We asked Scott and Chantal to capture our wedding day after having an engagement shoot with them. We cannot recommend them enough! In the lead up we had to change our venue a couple of times due to the pandemic, they were helpful in recommending new venues and have been really good at communicating throughout. On our day they were both a lovely presence and kept us at ease and having fun the whole time. Scott even helped the boys with some of their kilt accessories and where they should place them. They were also great with guests and keeping them right for group shots. We recently received our gallery and are absolutely IN LOVE, we've watched our slideshow hundreds of times already - cannot get enough of them. Thanks again!

If you’re looking for a photographer, congratulations, you can stop looking and just send an enquiry to the Gibsons. You won’t regret it. We are so so happy we had them with us in our wedding. Leading up to the day they were helpful and quick to reply to any questions or ideas we had. And even though we never met until the actual wedding day, they just melted in so well and felt comfortable to be around. Neither me or my husband are used to, or comfortable in front of a camera, but they made it feel so natural and easy - which I think shows in the photos. Also, to see them working together as a couple is just so inspiring, especially on your wedding day. Couldn’t recommend them enough!! (Ps. If we could give more than 5 stars then we would. The Gibsons Photography have been incredible since the moment we first got in touch. They are so professional and responded very quickly to any queries we had. They happily answered all our questions and offered lots of practical advice. Scott and Chantal made us feel at ease on our wedding day. They are so friendly and kind. Both Daniel and I agree that our photo session was one of the best parts of our day as The Gibsons made it so relaxed. Chantal asked if we would like a sneak peak of our photos the day after our wedding - we expected 1 photo. Instead we received over 60 amazing photos! Our family and friends have not stopped commenting on how beautiful the photos are and how perfectly they capture our special day. We could not be any more delighted. We then received our full collection of photos less than 3 weeks after our wedding. Our photos are beyond perfect and full of love and happiness. I cannot recommend The Gibsons Photography enough. Chantal and Scott have taken lots of photos for us over the years (engagement, wedding, family, tiny baby, fast moving toddler!) and we’re always so utterly impressed with their talent. They are just so good at what they do - capturing those rare moments forever: a little snapshot of someone’s personality, or a split second moment for the perfect shot - all while making you feel completely at ease and forgetting they’re actually taking photos! Especially on our wedding day, they allowed us to spend so much of the day just enjoying it rather than having to pose for photos, and yet we still had 1,000s of incredible photos to chose from. Their pictures are so natural and we always have so many amazing photos to chose from. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they have such a gift.

We couldn't be happier with choosing The Gibsons to photograph our wedding abroad in Scotland! As a bride from the US planning a wedding via email and virtual meetings, it's a bit scary to put all your faith in the vendors you choose without meeting in person first and hoping everything goes perfectly on your wedding day. Thanks to The Gibsons, it was perfect! Scott was very responsive via email when I reached out to inquire about their availability on our wedding day, and met with me on a video call to introduce himself, tell me about their business, and give me an idea of pricing for our photography needs. He helped me put a plan together leading up to the big day to ensure all the little details were captured. On the day of our wedding, he and Chantal arrived promptly on schedule and began taking photos of our prep right away. It was so nice chatting with Chantal during my prep time, while Scott assisted and photographed by husband getting ready separately. They were so professional during our ceremony and our photo session after, and happily chatting with us, that we didn't even know they were taking photos at certain points! They gave us clear direction for our posed photos so everything felt natural and didn't make us feel awkward at all. We had a bit of rain the day of, and they came prepared with umbrellas and navigated a golf buggy for us, and we got so many stunning photos in spite of the weather. We couldn't imagine choosing anyone else to take our wedding photos, and are so pleased with every single photo! If we're ever in Scotland again (which we hope we will be), we know who to call!
