Saya Photography

Saya captured our wedding day beautifully. We had the pleasure of working with Saya and her assistant for three days, this included our welcome dinner, wedding day, and after-wedding brunch. She is very passionate about her craft and is also extremely detail-oriented, taking note of all of our requests and wishes. Her calm demeanor kept us all at ease throughout our wedding weekend ensuring our photos were not only beautiful but also enjoyable to take for those who were camera shy. During our very first meeting, she was open to all of our ideas and inspirational photos. My Pinterest was a mix of whimsical yet cinematic photography that I hoped we would be able to recreate at our venue the Chateau de Bouthonvilliers. We also expressed to Saya that it was imperative that we did not feel pulled too away from the moments of the day to take photos. We opted for a first touch instead of the first look, which changed the timeline of your wedding day photos, however, Saya was able to create a timeline that was well-paced and flowed naturally. She was extremely efficient and made sure we captured all of the shots we explicitly requested during our meetings together. We really could not have found a better photographer to work with than Saya!! I would highly recommend her.

Picking Saya as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made in regard to my wedding. Her artistic vision, her calming personality, and her meticulous professionalism: she has a way of making you feel at ease, and capturing the most natural moments on your big day. We had the pleasure of doing a pre-wedding photoshoot the day before our wedding and Saya scouted different sites to make sure we had the perfect shots. On the wedding day, she took the most stunning photos but was never overwhelming. All the photos looks candid and everyone who's seen the photos raves about it. My husband and I had our wedding in Phuket Thailand in Dec 2022. A great photographer is one the most important part of the wedding process and Saya was everything and more! Saya and Clement were brilliant, attentive-to-detail and professional photographers. My husband and I are not usually a very photo-taking couple, but we are so glad that Saya encouraged us to capture all the moments throughout the day because these moments were so precious and the photos turned out amazing and now we have an amazing everlasting record of our wedding day. Thanks Saya for being beyond amazing and capturing the best moments of us!

From the very first time we Skype chatted with Saya, we loved her! She is bilingual in French and English so she was able to answer both my and my husband's questions in addition she was so warm and bubbly and just seemed to immediately understand both what we were looking for and what our hesitations were. She suggested doing a pre-wedding photo shoot to help "break the ice" and get comfortable being in front of the camera and having her there. This was so so helpful! Not only did it give us a chance to get comfortable, but we also now have some amazing engagement-type photos in addition to our wedding photos. Saya was professional, kind, communicative and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond both in the lead-up to the wedding (e.g. by finding us a videographer when we thought we could not fit it in our budget) and on the day of, interacting with our families, wedding party and guests with ease. Lastly, her photos were absolutely stunning and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. Merci beaucoup Saya!!!
