Po Midwinter - Celebrant

Po was amazing and made our wedding ceremony so lovely and personal. She is such a genuine and friendly person and many of our guests commented on how lovely she was and how it’s clear she loves what she does. We can’t thank Po enough! X

I attended a wedding ceremony officiated by Po last weekend, which took place at Chaucer Barn, Gresham. The wedding was possibly the nicest one I have ever been to. Po delivered a heartfelt and genuine ceremony. Whilst much was written by the bride and groom, she added her own touches and brought a real sense of warmth to the event. It was if she had known the couple for years and was officiating for a pair of close friends. We had a golden retriever as the ring bearer, an eternity knot and sand ceremony, all of which added to the realness of the event. This was about two people committing their lives to each other and Po facilitated the gravitas of that with understanding, warmth and genuine care. I would not hesitate to suggest that anyone talk with her about their event. Ours was a privilege to attend.

We had a beautiful ceremony with Po that we'll never forget. She offered us plenty of help and support, online as well as in person, and and came up with some great ideas for us too, providing structure as well as multiple options and helping us to settle on what we really wanted. The ceremony and Po's telling of our story was very personal, warm (emotionally!) and romantic, and reflected our two different characters. She worked with the musicians and venue to make sure everything went smoothly, as well as encouraging our friends and relatives who gave readings as well. We really wanted something symbolic as we'd already got married officially. Originally the plan was just to have a party to celebrate, but once we met Po we knew we'd made the right decision to have a humanist ceremony as well the same day. Having it take place in an unspoilt outdoor setting (the Locks) was absolutely perfect. We chose to have a handfasting and light a unity candle. I'd recommend Po to anyone wishing to have a non-religious ceremony of any kind.

We attended a wedding in September with Po as the celebrant. Po has such a lovely welcoming manner and told the story of the happy couple beautifully. She even told the thunder to go away and it did!! Thank you for helping make such special memories x

We recently had Po as our wedding celebrant and every aspect of the process and the ceremony was amazing.
